Wheels-in-Motion General Meeting Minutes – April 7, 2014
2
Meeting was called to order by Pres. John Morreale, at 7:40 PM
Sergeant-of-Arms, Ed Scott, led the members in the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence followed.
Visitors: Joe Horvath
President’s Report: John Morreale reminded the members about the upcoming show in Cairo GA, May
16-18 and the Good Guys Auction, April 25-27, in Kissimmee FL. He also reminded the Club of the
Great Race, Maine to FL, which will end in the Villages on June 29 and that he needs to know how many
members plan on attending the Finish. He will have a sign-up sheet at the May meeting.
Vice-President’s Report: Rich Mulvaney reported that the Waycross GA Car Show on April 1 was great fun
with good prizes (i.e.. $10,000 raffle). Rich, also, reported that there is a 100,000 year old castle, Castle
Otttis, near St.Augustine, and he suggested this as a destination for a Club outing. He will provide possible dates for the outing at the May meeting of the Club.
Treasurer’s Report: Al Jusko reported that he still had a few membership cards waiting to be picked up.
Secretary’s Report: A motion was made, seconded, and carried to accept the March 3, 2014 minutes as
presented in the last issue of The Wheel.
Editor’s Report: Jim Houston wishes to step down from the Editor’s job in January 2015. Anyone who
would be interested in taking over can contact Jim. He will assist in the turnover to the new editor.

Clerk says, “Okay, sounds like a fair trade.”

The National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged
they had covertly funded a project with the US auto makers for the past five years, whereby the auto makers were
installing black boxes in four-wheel drive pickup trucks in
an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash.
They were surprised to find in 49 of the 50 states the last
words of drivers in 61.2 percent of fatal crashes were: "Oh,
S**t !"
Only the state of Alabama was different, where 89.3 percent of the final words were: "Hold my beer and watch
this!"

'Cause if it had 4 doors, it would be a chicken sedan.
