July 2014
Membership Check
Official List Can Be Found
At The Welcome Center
To make certian there
are no surprises on the
day of the vote, all members
are being asked to confirm their
member status by verifying their
name on our current member list.
After many months of prayer
and seeking God’s direction for
Trinity Church, we are anticipating
the presentation of the new Senior
Pastor candidate in the very near future.
The pastoral selection process is nearing its
completion and we encourage each Trinity member
to pray even more diligently and contribute to the
pastoral calling process through voting.
With the upcoming Congregational Meeting and vote, our
constitution is clear that only official “members” (those
that have attended First Base, been interviewed by an
elder and approved)are able to cast their vote. To ensure
we are compliant with our constitution, we will be asking
members to check-in as they pick up a ballot.
The list will be located, Sundays, at the
Welcome Center, through July 6. If your
name is not on the list and you believe you are a
member, please contact Lisa VanGreuningen, x111.
Your information will be given to the elders for
further research.
Did you know that we post all the songs we sing
on Sunday morning to our website? In addition
to linking to iTunes and getting lyrics, you can
now listen for free on Spotify.

Adult classes are a great way to get to know God and to

each person to do the “good works which God prepared in
advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).
July 18, 66ers Baseball Game - Take me out to the ball
game! Bring the whole family and “root, root, root for
the home team.” Game starts at 7:00 pm at 280 S E St,
San Bernardino. $8 per ticket; parking is $5 per vehicle.
Purchase your tickets Sundays, on the Plaza, or during the
week at the Front Office.

mandate in 2 Timothy 2:2, where we are told to take what
we have learned and pass it on to others who will then
pass it on...and so on. Come be part of the excitement of
helping people come to and grow in faith in Christ. We
will be using the workbook Partners: 1 on 1 Discipleship,
available for $5 at the class. Meets June 29-August 31.

MISSION MINISTRIES
FORMER ADVENTIST FELLOWSHIP
The Lord has called us to make disciples of all nations.
Therefore, people of other cultures and nations are part of
our responsibility. We participate in the Great Commission by
developing a global outlook, by sending and supporting church
members to be involved in planting churches and by supporting
strategic ministries.
Former Adventist Fellowship is a small-group, inductive Bible
study ministry for those with a Seventh-day Adventist background.
The group provides support and mentoring during the difficult
transition of becoming grounded in a biblical worldview.

primary goal of IFC is to open our hearts and homes to
these internationals, and to help them understand God’s
love through our hospitality and friendship. These students
and scholars need and desire friendships. To learn how you
can become involved and partner with our International
Ministry Team contact Gordon & Cindy Mellis (909) 7987817, or email [email protected].

Invest Your Talent, Impact a Life - Summer is the perfect
time to join us as we minister to kids at Micah House. We
run a fun program with enough learning to keep the kids on
track for the coming year, but we need YOU to play games,
serve snacks, share devotional time, and hang out with
our kids in a relaxed environment. Give us an hour or two
each week and make a change in our city! We need servant
hearts, Monday through Thursday, anytime during 1:304:30 pm. Please contact Stephanie Deininger (909) 5831013 for more information and to volunteer.
FUENTE DE VIDA
July 6-27, Backpack and School Supply Collection Just as last year, we are anticipating a large need for
backpacks and school supplies this year and have
joined forces with the Redlands Police Department
to collect items for kids going back to school. Our
combined goal is 1,200-1,500 backpacks full of supplies
that will enable the children to have a successful
start to the new school year. The collection will be on
Sundays at the kiosk between services. We are looking
for new, good quality backpacks (Jansport, High Sierra,
etc.) and specific school supplies:
• Crayons
• Markers
• Colored pencils
• Pencil sharpeners
• Composition books
• College-ruled notebooks
Watch for an insert in the bulletin this month giving
you a list of the specific needs. You can take the
shopping list with your family to the store and shop
for someone else, which is a great way to teach your
children the principle “It is more blessed to give than
to receive.” If you do not have the time to go shopping
$40 will cover the cost of buying and distributing a
backpack to children in our community who have a
need, let us do the shopping for you. Make your check
payable to “Trinity Community Foundation.” Thank
you for your support of Micah House.
