dinner to follow in the convention center.
We have a limited number of campsites available for the
fall campout and once they are gone, we will not be able
to get any more campsites. Please contact the hotel for

JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER
This is a street rod, custom and nostalgic event. In that order, those cars will have priority for the 1/8 mile. If you own a later model car (’78 or
older ONLY) and want to bring it to Brainerd, you are welcome to do so but you can’t participate in the “on track” activities. Just remember that
the street rods, customs and nostalgia drag cars that are not included in the “PRO” category take priority in staging. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
DRAG RACING PROGRAM:
Sessions all day Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. Session times to be announced at the event.
We’ll run 1/8 and 1/4 mile
This is FREE TO MSRA CARD CARRYING MEMBERS
These on-track sessions are provided for invited guests of MSRA to run their nostalgia and/or professional drag cars.
CLASS RULES:
NO bracket cars, NO 3rd generation Camaros, NO Tuners or sport compacts, NO motorcycles and NO rear engine dragsters.
What this means is this is a nostalgia drag, street rod and custom run for MSRA members. You are welcome to come but nothing built after 1979 will be allowed to run the 1/8 mile non-comp program unless the car has NHRA significance. No exceptions!
DRAG RACING RULES: There will be NO LICENSE or TEST RUNS!
MSRA members will be allowed to make passes down the drag strip provided their cars will pass the on-site NHRA Tech & Safety Inspection.
If you do not pass tech you do not run your car, NO EXCEPTIONS! You must be a licensed driver with valid license and proof of insurance AND
have your current MSRA membership card to participate.
Your vehicle must have the minimum required safety equipment for the speed and ET your vehicle runs in order to make a pass down the drag
strip. Some examples of missed items from previous years are: improperly installed or missing seats or seat belts, missing or leaking coolant
overflow “puke” tank, missing or broken battery hold down, nylon tubing used for a mechanical oil pressure gauge and missing or expired safety
helmet. Make sure all your equipment like belts and certifications are up-to-date and in good shape. So, if you plan to run your car, make sure it’s
strong and safe and ready to run.
If you do not pass Tech ... You do not get to run your car.
NO EXCEPTIONS! SAFETY IS FOR YOU!
