Whew....how about this heat? I hope everyone has
stayed as cool as possible over the summer! Just
another reason to appreciate all our hardworking
maintenance staff. Speaking of maintenance, I
want to thank everyone who made our
maintenance appreciation event a success. Next
year, we will try to order warmer weather.
I would like to encourage everyone to attend our
upcoming meeting. We have much to accomplish.
1. If you haven't already signed up, it is
never too late to sweet talk Susan to
getting you reserved for "Leadership for
Success" held on August 23rd.
2. It is time to kick off our annual Can Food
Drive. We will be announcing the 2010
winners at the August meeting!
3. GAA is so close this year (Savannah,
GA), we hope to see everyone there.

annual meeting tab for details.
4. Start thinking about getting involved…
September we will collect nominations
for 2012-2013 board, vote in November,
and announce the new members in
December.
5. PAC Bowling will be held in October so
dust off your bowling shoes and look for
further details.
6. Last but not least-take note of your staff
and vendors! We want every property to
have at least 2 nominations this year. Let's
make it tough for the judges...

Wow, how the last two years has flown! Fitco was in the “Vendor
Spotlight” in June 2009 when “stimulus” was a popular buzz
word. Some of you may remember that I provided a “Stimulus
check” for any referral over $2500 for the months of June, July and
August. I will think twice about using that particular phrase again!
Our partnership has grown exponentially over these last two years
and I thank you for keeping me busy! I’ve been an active MGAA
member for almost nine years and served on the Board for two of
those years. Fitco and I still provide premium Precor and Cybex
products as well as value-based products from manufacturers such as
In-Flight, SportsArt, TuffStuff and Legend. We continue to provide
many layers of service including consultation on new and existing
equipment, CAD layout, warranty and non-warranty repairs and
installation to serve all of your fitness center needs. Rest assured that
when you purchase from Fitco, you are partnering with a world class
organization that takes your business seriously. I will personally
walk with you through the entire buying cycle and be your contact
there after. I am proud of the relationship that I’ve developed with
