Job Search Initiative
OASW members are provided with short-term access to Experienced
Social Workers who can demystify the job search process, provide advice/perspective on job search strategies, thus helping them to enter/reenter social work practice. Experienced Social Workers are not expected to find
jobs for Job Seekers.
Process: Step 1: Job Seeker provides a copy of résumé. Step 2: Experienced
Social Worker reviews résumé. Step 3: Parties connect. Step 4: Follow-up
meeting.
To participate as either a Job Seeker or as an Experienced Social Worker,
please e-mail us with your OASW membership number.
Disclaimer: OASW assumes no responsibility for the match. However, OASW will try to
find another match if the match is not satisfactory or if needs have changed.
