Match Day Programme
APRIL 18, 2016
RED HURRICANES vs KITFO
Price : TZR 5
RED HURRICANES SQUAD:
From the Manager’s Desk
The RED HURRICANES welcomes you to the ADC stadium, which is our home
ground this season, for the combined league match between RH and KITFO.
Although the last result was not a favorable one for our pursuit of the league
title we continue to believe that we can get there. We need to do our job and
focus on the remaining games while hoping for the Warriors to drop points
towards the end of the season.
We now have a new bloke in the Red Hurricanes who joined us on Tuesday
12th April – Nikhil B has been blessed with a baby boy and dad is really excited
with our new squad member.
From the Manager’s Desk
We are coming towards the end of the season and each match that we play
now has gained a lot more importance. Considering that we trail the
previous season’s champions by 8 points with one game in hand, we simply
cannot afford to lose any points in the remaining games.
In my opinion, both teams will approach the game differently with KITFO
trying to be innovative to exploit any gaps/weaknesses in our squad with
invaluable help from Mr. Khare while we will try to pass the ball around and
build play from the back.
We all know that catching up RW is a difficult task now but we need to
remain positive until it is mathematically possible and continue to do our
job well and focus on our results.
Injury Update and Team News
Gambo is still working hard to get back to full fitness. Unfortunately, the
game on Monday comes too early for him but we are confident he will be
back for our last two league games of the season.
Rajesh B – TC is near 100% and is grateful to Dr. Khare for all his help and
guidance. He missed the last game but is raring to go against KITFO and get
us back on track.
Neeraj B – unfortunately it does not look to good for our joint manager, he
is working hard and racing against time to get fit and play again this season.
Prashant G will miss the game as he is travelling and we have got KS on loan
from BI to marshal the defense and play alongside Mangs.
Captain’s Viewpoint
Amu, club captain, who has the record for the highest
valued player in TZLC – 0.5M:
Amu – “Thanks to Sir for the ratings but I feel I would rather
get a rating of ZERO in the game and win.
We lost to BT the last time around and need to get back to
winning in the next game. KITFO will work very hard and we
have to show more fire as a unit.
We have most of our players available for this game and
hopefully we will not lose anyone due to injury. We are
eagerly awaiting for Gambhya to return and provide us with
goals upfront.
KITFO will be a tricky game but we look to beat them and
get 3 important points.”
What are we playing for?
RW currently sit on top of the table, 8 points clear of us but we have a game in
hand. The league title has evaded us in the past seasons but this season we have a
strong squad to go all the way. We have had a few hickups this season and we all
now all set to put all points on the board in the remaining games. We need to win
all the games and hope that RW slip up in one or two of the remaining games.
Crack the Quiz:
1.
How many GKs does RH have in its squad? Name them.
2.
