A
s we prepare to celebrate our 100th Anniversary on Madison, we invite you to share
the gift of our Club. Help us grow our membership by participating in the Vision
2015 New Member Initiative.
Now through May 31 sponsor a new Resident member and upon their election you will
receive a $1,000 credit to be used for food, beverages and guest rooms at the Club.*
Once your sponsored member is elected they will also receive a $1,000 credit toward the
Club’s entrance fee, which is normally $2,500.
Share the beauty of the DAC by inviting a prospective member to tour the Club.

Tigers Opening Day parking & securiTy nOTice
Have you registered your guest? Please note that due to high walking
and parking traffic volume for Opening Day, all guests coming into
the Clubhouse or tailgate outside must be registered.
Any guests attending an event with you or meeting you here will
be required to be registered on a list before coming onto DAC
property. Only guests attending DAC events with a DAC member
will be permitted to use Club parking.
Please note that registration does not guarantee parking.
Parking is first-come, first-served. To self-park, members are required
to have member identification/garage card and 2013 windshield
sticker. Member garage access cards and DAC membership cards in
possession of non-members will be confiscated and turned over to the
House Committee.

Member self-park – no charge, Member valet – $10, and
Guest self-park or valet – $35

Tigers Tailgates Kickoff
Monday, April 29
The tradition continues. Bring friends and
family to pre-game festivities in our backlot
Stadium Pavilion. The Stadium Eats menu
is “Fast, Fresh and Made in Detroit.” Walkins welcome. Large employee or family
group platters available with pre-order.
Sunday, May 12
Invite the special women in your life to
a DAC tradition offering a splendid
buffet with all the trimmings. A musical
trio will perform and Fox Studios will

Thursdays beginning May 16
Join members at Western Golf and Country Club in Redford again this year. Pick your

Bowling League & Club Championships
Athletic Calendar
Beginning Monday, April 8
DAC Bowling Leagues will declare the 2013 Champions at the end of this month.
Men’s Leagues – April 8-11. Winning teams advance to the Club. Championships
beginning April 17. Final round is April 26.
Men’s Individual Match Play – A-Division qualifying Monday, April 15. B and C
Divisions qualifying April 16. Top five bowlers in each division advance to Championship
Round on April 26.
Ladies Leagues – Tuesday League Championships on April 9.
Friday League Championships on April 12. Final Championship
will be April 19 at 5 p.m.

Blackballers Club Championships
Beginning Monday, April 1
DAC athletes will begin their Club championships this month, wrapping
up final play by May 2.
Squash – Players will compete in 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and Open
categories; best of five games, no consolation draw.
Handball – Players will compete in Open, B, Rookie, Golden Masters
and Super Masters categories; best of three, no consolation draw.
Racquetball – Championships will compete in either A or B divisions;
best of three games in a knock out draw format.

Squash Cross Border Challenge
Saturday, April 20 from 2 - 5 p.m. in Windsor
Once again the DAC will defend the Cross Border trophy – this time on foreign soil. Singles
players between levels 2.5 and 5.5, plus doubles pairs at the A, B and C level take on the
Windsor Squash Club. A keg will be provided. Registration deadline is April 15. Contact

Don’t miss the World Squash Championship taking place at the DAC. Top eight players
