Pre-school through Fifth Grade
Geared towards our younger students, this program is one that allows your child to experience a little bit
of everything. Each week offers a new theme that will guide the curriculum in various classes such as
science, music, foreign language, cooking, and sports—just to name a few! This is a great option for either
first-time summer students or if your child is looking to explore a variety of topics in their week with us.
Check out pages 2-4 for more detailed information and the weekly themes.
HALF DAY (8:00 am-12:15 pm): $250/week FULL DAY (8:00 am-4:00 pm): $350/week
Specialty Programs

JUNE 22-AUGUST 21
(different programs each week)
Designed to immerse students in a particular interest, these weeks promise to be a great time! Covering a
variety of topics over the summer, students can choose one or two things that they are passionate about and
dive in. Each week is guided by staff with unique experience in the subject matter. Due to the focused
programming, some topics are only covered one week out of the summer and all have limited space so
flip through pages 5-7 to see all of the options we have this summer.
FULL DAY (8:30 am-4:30 pm): $450/week
Career Weeks
JULY 20-AUGUST 21
Fifth through Eighth Grades
As our students begin to look towards high school and eventually college, we are excited to offer
(for the first time this year) five career-specific weeks to give students a leg up in the industry they may
want to pursue. Designed and led by professionals in the field, these weeks tackle real-world problem
solving and teamwork in these unique professions. With limited space available in order to ensure the
quality of the program, registering early guarantees your child’s spot. Turn to page 8 to see the careers
we are offering this year.
FULL DAY (8:30 am-4:30 pm): $450/week

Pre-school through Fifth Grade
Summer Enrichment Program
The Summer Enrichment Program has been the backbone of St. Peter’s Summer Programming for nearly
20 years. Formatted so that each student gets to experience a variety of topics each day, the program is all
about getting a little bit of everything.
Students are organized into groups by age prior to their arrival at camp and assigned a Group Leader
that will be their guide through the week’s adventures. Once the groups are settled, the week will begin
with a large Summer Program Assembly where we all get to see who will be with us this week. Each
group will then get a chance to name themselves and come up with a chant or song to signify who
they are to everyone else.
After that, it’s off to our first class.
Each day allows the students to travel from class to class, learning more about each week’s theme through
geography lessons, storytelling games, special recipes, and a variety of other things! With a half-day and
full-day option, you can decide how much you’d like your child to experience each week. And as we know
it’s the summer, we’ll have plenty of time to play outside amidst all of our learning. Whether this is your
first time here with us or are returning for another year, the themes for the summer promise to offer a
brand new experience each week for your child.
At the close of each week, friends and family will be invited to a small sharing by each group that
showcases just a bit of what they learned with us.
All weeks are $250/week for half-day attendance or $350/week for full-day attendance.

Career Weeks
NEW FOR 2015!
St. Peter’s is looking to provide a space where interests can be explored and passions can be developed. By
attending one of our Career Weeks this summer, students on the path to high school get the opportunity to
get real life knowledge in a vocation of their choice. Our programs go beyond the classroom, taking
advantage of our Center City neighborhood and its cultural resources to create a fun and unique learning
environment. Developed and led by professionals in the fields they are studying, our Career Weeks offer
students a truly unique experience. FULL DAY: $450/week
Check out our specific Career Week topics for this summer:
Entrepreneurship
July 20-24
Do you have an “idea man” in your midst? Then he or she might be the perfect fit for our week that
explores how to make ideas come to life. By examining local businesses that all started with a nugget of a
thought, students will see the sheer time and effort that goes into bringing it all to life.
Veterinary Science
July 27-31
Learn what kind of mind—and heart—it takes to pursue a career helping our four-legged friends.
Partnering with veterinarians, veterinary science students, and local animal shelters will allow students to
see all aspects that go into being truly exceptional in the field.
Sports Management
August 3-7
If you’re constantly amazed by your child’s knowledge of teams, players, and the industry in general, then it
might be time to see how to make all that time and energy pay off. By working with professionals in the
sports field, students see how things like Fantasy Football can be a stepping stone to an actual career.
Culinary Arts
August 10-14
Does your child make a fantastic filet mignon? Or are people already after their secret cookie recipe? This
week is all about teaching students how to turn their culinary passion and skill into an actual career! By
working with chefs and bakers who have made it work, students will learn how to make their mark in
“Phoodie” Philadelphia.
Architecture
August 17-21
Rome wasn’t built in a day; and it definitely wasn’t designed in one either. Too often we overlook the
sheer skill it takes to plan out the amazing buildings we walk by every day. This week allows students
to understand the process and offers skills they can build upon if a career in architecture might be in
their future.
