 Purpose:
Specify mechanical, electrical and cooling interfaces between
MIDS Hosts and the MIDS System equipment.


MIDS LVT 1 Consists of two primary Line Replaceable Units (LRUs):
 Main Terminal – referred to as the TERMINAL
 Remote Power Supply (RPS)
 Three ancillary equipment LRUs:
• AC RPS Power Adapter LRU (ACA)
• DC RPS Power Adapter LRU (DCA)
• High Power Amplifier Interface Assembly LRU (HIA)


Description: The RPS supplies the MT with electrical power.

Fully compatible with AC & DC adapters that supply 115VAC (400hz 3
Phase), +/-140VDC

Divided into three major functional blocks:
 “C” converter – Power Factor Control;
Corrects current/voltage phasing & signal distortion
 “B” converter – Supplies MT with dc voltages;
Provides MT with interface signals
 “A” converter – Supplies MT with dc voltages;
Provides MT with interface signals

 FDL Terminal is designed specifically for use on
the F-15 aircraft.
 The FDL terminal is composed of common
