WÖLFFER ESTATE VINEYARD
The winery is located just down the road from here,
in a quaint village named Sagaponack.Wölffer Estate
Vineyard is the result of a man's vision, a creative
spirit and a passion to succeed - that of the late
Christian Wölffer.
The original parcel of land was a 14 acre potato farm
with an old farmhouse in what is now the middle of
the estate, which he bout in 1978. Over the years as
more acres were acquired, paddocks and stables were
added and in 1987, Sagg Pond Vineyards was
founded. This 55 acre winery is part of a 175 acre
estate with boarding stables, 30 paddocks, an indoor
jumping ring, and a Grand Prix field. Both the
stables and winery have a European character and
these former potato fields have become the
foundation for world-class wines.Wölffer Estate
Vineyard is an American Winery in the Classic
European Tradition.

CORKAGE POLICY
and to build a foundation for future generations.
Accepting responsibility as stewards of both natural and human
Our Wine Program is something that we take great
pride in. We work real hard to provide you with
beautiful, quality wines from great producers. Our list
is constantly changing and growing, so we can provide
you with something special to enjoy your meal with.
We love that many of our guests are collectors of fine
and special wines and therefore allow these wines to be
brought into our Living Room. The following policy
has been developed to accommodate you and provide
you with the proper service. There will be a $40
corkage fee per 750 ml bottle.

Sustainable is a widely used term, with definitions varying from region
to region, each adapting to its own uniqueness. Sustainable agriculture
resources is a common factor with all the producers we carry on our list.
Some examples of sustainable winemaking and growing practices
include maintaining healthy soil, reducing pesticide use, protecting air
and water quality, preserving local ecosystems and wildlife habitats,
recycling resources and enhancing relationships with employees and
communities.
