mothers and their daughters.
This was a special event
wherein
a
daughter
felicitated her mother by
giving her the PRERNA
AWARD. In other words, the
daughter thanked her mother
for being her best friend in
life.
The programme was telecast on 12th May, 2013 i.e. on Mother’s Day on DD
National at 9.30 pm to 12 midnight and generated a whooping gross revenue of
nearly one crore during telecast.

Madhu Raja: She is a talented actress, successful home –maker and
lovable mother. Besides having served as a T.V. and Radio
Professional she is still active in the media and entertainment
Industry.
Kamini Khanna: She is a multi faceted personality.
She is involved in writing, singing, teaching Yoga, anchoring and a
popular Radio jockey.
Daughter
Ms. Reeva Thakur : She has inherited music. She
is not only renowned singer but also a music
composer. She had given her first public
performance at the age of four and mesmerized the
audiences with Meerabai’s famous bhajan “Payoji
maine Ram Ratan Dhan Paayo”
Ms. Ragini Shankar: She is also, a renowned
violin player .She has aimed to achieve the highest
success in her life through her music.
Ms. Priyanka: A distinguished editor of screen
magazine-Miss Priyanka Sinha was born in a
highly respectable family of Patna. She is equally
comfortable in writing and editing.
Ms. Tarana : She is source of inspiration for
aspiring Radio jockeys. Besides this, she is a
talented actress, seasoned anchor and a trained
Kathak dancer.
Ms. Ragini Khanna : A post graduate in
Commerce – Ms. Ragini Khanna has made a
remarkable balance between acting and education
and has won many awards in the field of acting.

Natarang are some of her hits.
Ms. Gauri Shinde is an Indian ad-film and feature film Director. Ms.
Shinde has made her directional debut through the highly
acclaimed English Vinglish (2012),
Kalpana Sawant- Sub Inspector - 1st girl to bag police academy Sword
of Honour. Along with bagging the Sword of Honour, Kalpana received
