NAHB CONVENTION ONCE AGAIN A SHOWCASE
The most recent NAHB convention is over. It was a great event, a showcase of what the industry is all about.
It is recognition of the thousands of men and woman who make affordable housing a reality in this country. We are the
true builders, the backbone, of America.
Hundreds from Ohio participated and benefited from the wide array of displays, programs and educational
opportunities. Many of our members hold leadership positions at NAHB and they displayed their commitment to
making our affiliation strong.
As we continue to dig out from some tough economic times Ohio continues to take the lead in securing a sound
NAHB through our participation. Long committed to our national partner, we continue to add with positive emotion
and a strong willingness to protect and promote our industry and our association.
We are a strong association. This was clearly evident at the convention as Ohio builders demonstrated their
commitment to our unified effort. Each year we seem to be the group that personifies what it means to be supportive.
We make a meaningful contribution to a successful association from which many benefit.
Meet two BVBIA members and Discover what they can do for you or someone you know.

Parade of Homes & Tour of Homes 2015 is under construction.
Yes it is that time of year to start making plans for the Scattered Site Parade of Homes and Tour of Homes 2015. The
date for the Parade of Homes will be July, 2015 and the Tour of Homes October, 2015.
The Parade of Homes provides an opportunity to showcase what’s available in home technology, security systems,
furniture, outdoor living spaces, home theaters and the list goes on. For prospective homebuyers, this is a smart way to
witness trends and to view many new models and floor plans at once. To qualify, the home must be a new built, singlefamily residence. And remain unoccupied unit the end of the 2015 Parade of Homes.
The Tour of Homes is a home show which allows members of the Buckeye Valley BIA to display a variety of condominiums and remodeling projects throughout the Licking and Muskingum counties. Last year Tour of Homes was very
successful!
Please join us on Tuesday, February 10, for the first Parade of Homes and Tour of Homes meeting. The meeting will
begin at 5:00 p.m at the Buckeye Valley BIA office. Please reserve a seat today by calling (740) 345-2898 or by e-mail:
bia @buckeyevalleybia.com. This meting will conclude no later than 6:00 p.m.
If you would like to be among the Builders and Remodelers showcased in this years events, please plan on attending
this meeting!
