Why a Crafting for a Cause?
The Upland Hills Auxiliary supports many
health services provided by Upland Hills
Health and they are helping to bring an
outdoor walking path to our community.
You can help by bringing your friends and
craft supplies to enjoy this day away. All
crafters are welcome to join in the fun!
What’s going to happen
that day?
This year we will get a head start on Friday
evening and craft from 6:30 to
10 pm! Then on Saturday, we’ll start the
day promptly at 8:30 am. Lunch will be
served around noon and the day will end
at 4:30 pm. Throughout the day, there will
be surprises, door prizes, craft time and
fun! For beginners or veterans, vendors
are willing to help and offer advice and give
product demonstrations. Just ask!
What do I need to bring?
Plan to bring all your crafting supplies you
will need for your projects. For your
convenience, on-site vendors will have a
variety of paper, adhesives,
embellishments and more available for
purchase. Tools will also be available for
use also.
Earlybird registration gives you a
discount for getting registration form &
payment in on a timely manner which helps
us to plan better for how many will be in
attendance.
A walking path
for our community.
Many members of our community rely
on the corridor within Upland Hills Health
to get in some exercise each week. The
corridor provides a safe, warm and dry
place to walk.
Many have expressed that a wish to walk
outside in the sunshine when the weather
cooperates, but there are few, safe
connected paths. An outdoor walking
path, built just south of the Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center, would also provide
a place for NRC residents and their
families to enjoy each others company
and get a little fresh air.
