How is it already time to talk about October releases? By the
time these titles come out, the leaves will be changing and
we’ll all be sipping on a nice warm mug of hot chocolate. For
now, I’d rather enjoy the sunshine and blue skies but I am
excited for what will be a major month for books!
This month, we’ve got lots of new releases from the
entertainment world including actress Drew Barrymore,
television personality Ellen Degeneres, broadcast journalist
Ted Koppel and fashion icon Donna Karan.
We've got releases from authors that are well-known or
debuting, too. John Grisham’s Rogue Lawyer, and a title
from Anthony Marra, author of A Constellation of Vital
Phemomena, called The Tsar of Love and Techno.
City on Fire by Gareth Risk Halberg is a title that cannot be
missed; it's a novel about what it means to be human.
Musical biographies are popular this month with books from
Patti Smith, Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Elvis Costello, Lita Ford
(The Runaways), John Fogerty (Creedence Clearwater
Revival) and an official history of The Who by Ben Marshall.
There is something here for everyone this month! Dig in
and enjoy!
