HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES
Molly Maid
A
clean, fresh house shouldn’t have to be a luxury,
but when a home is the epicenter of family activity,
house-cleaning becomes overwhelming. Opened in
1998, Donna Reilly’s Molly Maid franchise offers
clients the satisfaction of having both quality family time
and a spotless home.
Serving more than 500 clients throughout Anne
Arundel County, its Ms. Reilly’s philosophy of providing
consistent, professional customer service that enables
her Molly Maid franchise to thrive. From one-time to
weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly and monthly cleanings,
Ms. Reilly understands that each customer perceives
cleanliness differently. “Providing flexible, personalized
service allows us to accommodate our customers’
needs,” explains Ms. Reilly.
Molly Maid not only provides a long list of
standard services such as dusting and vacuuming, they

also clean refrigerators, ovens and wash windows
when requested. Ms. Reilly personally tests every
cleaning product and uses only the industry’s best without heavy perfumes. “To me, a clean home smells
good on its own,” she says.
Because home security is paramount, every Molly
Maid cleaning professional is screened, bonded and
insured. For easy identification, cleaning professionals
arrive wearing a uniform and drive distinctive Molly
Maid cars. “Our customers trust us with keys to their
home. We guard those keys and ensure each client’s
home is well cared for and secure,” assures Ms. Reilly.
Ms. Reilly keeps in constant contact with customers
to guarantee their satisfaction, making adjustments
when required. “The secret to customer service is good
communication,” she says. “This allows us to
understand and meet our clients’ needs.”
Ms. Reilly enumerates, “We get good feedback

from our clients; after 12 years in business, I’m proud
to say I still have my first customer.”
As testament to Ms. Reilly’s diligent work ethic and
the quality of her service, her operation serves as a
training center for new franchise owners. Subsequently,
she was named Trailblazer of the Year in 2007, a title
bestowed to franchise owners who excel at mentoring
other Molly Maid owners nationwide.
In 2002, Ms. Reilly received the Shining Star,
recognizing her franchise as the best of the year within
the Molly Maid organization. A reflection of her own
dedication to quality, in 2008 and 2009 Ms. Reilly’s
employees received nationwide acknowledgement
earning Molly Maid’s Home Service Professional of the
Year, and were runners up in 2010. “This is not only an
award-winning business, but also an award-winning
staff,” shares Ms. Reilly.
Ms. Reilly’s mission is for Molly Maid to be the
most recognized, admired and respected name in
home cleaning. In 2009 and 2010 she achieved that
mission when The Capital Gazette newspaper readers
voted Molly Maid the “Best Cleaning Service.”
Because Ms. Reilly believes every home should be
as safe as it is clean, she sits on the Board of Directors
for the Ms. Molly Foundation – an organization started
by Molly Maid, Inc., to support victims of domestic
violence. A portion of every cleaning fee goes toward
the Foundation and directly benefits Arden House, a
local domestic violence shelter. “It is essential to serve
not only our customers, but also our community,”
she says.
