1. You’re the Ultimate Insider: Parking Spot at School Plus Dinner with Ms.
Lerner
Back by popular demand – your very own reserved parking spot in the school lot,
starting the Monday after HillsFest and lasting until the day before next year’s
auction. Think how much less stressful your daily routine will be, and how easy it
will be to attend school events, knowing that you can park right across from the
front office. Thank you, Ms. Lerner, for generously agreeing to continue this
tradition. This year, there’s an added bonus: one evening, dinner is on Ms. Lerner!
She’ll show up at Del Mar Pizza and break bread with you and the kids.
Value: Priceless
Donor: Ms. Lerner
2. 3rd Grade: Letting Their Imaginations Take Flight
This painted collage shows how our 3rd graders are starting to spread their wings
and fly, with their own unique personalities. Each child painted a 4x6-inch abstract
watercolor using a warm, earthy palette. The paintings have been joined together
into feather shapes, mounted into one lovely wing. As the famous quote goes, "We
are, each of us, angels with but one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one
another."
Value: Priceless
Donors: Mrs. Allard and Mrs.
Weidmann’s 3rd Grade classes

and a deck with city views—was built in 1890 and even won the grand prize in a
home design contest held back then by the San Francisco Examiner. For your
modern-day adventure, the home is just blocks away from shops, restaurants and
the Presidio Park gate. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/6591838

5. Three-Alarm Fun: Dinner for 6 at the Station 24 Firehouse!
For one evening, you can join San Diego’s most exclusive inner circle—the crew at
the San Diego Firefighters’ Station 24. You’ll be served a hearty dinner that’s been

firehouse—and maybe even slide down the pole. Bring the kids, or make it a dinner
out for six grown-ups.
Restrictions: Alcohol is not provided by the station and any coordination of such
would be at the discretion of the host Captain. Certificate is valid through March 8,
2016.

6. 5th Grade: By Land and by Sea Mirror
Life in Del Mar reflects our connection both to the ruggedly lovely landscape and
the ocean beyond. For this equally reflective piece, the students created sea
creatures on copper tiles—using the “repoussage" technique—which then come
together to create the frame for this elegant mirror.
