GLOBAL:
(1) May users of the
drug ICE, which is devastating
communities across Australia, begin to
realise that by turning to God, their addiction
can be broken.
(2) Christian organisations are ministering in refugee
camps, & distributing Bibles among Syrian & Iraqi
refugees. Please pray for those traumatised by the
conflict, & those suffering persecution for their faith.
Pray that God`s peace & strength will be received by
those affected.
(3) Please pray for the many Christians in Eritrea who
are in prison for simply believing in Jesus. Pray that
they would find comfort & soon be released.

Our Community Garden has free vegetables
available to the public. Thursday between 10am12noon is a great time to drop by, meet our team
and pick fresh produce to use in your home. We
grow a variety of produce including carrots,
spinach, kale, beetroot, silverbeet and many
herbs – we’d love to have you visit! 887 Marion
Rd, Mitchell Park (enter via Alawoona Avenue).

make sure you come along and enjoy the
conversation and companionship before
their Christmas breakups.
National Police Checks…
A notice will go out soon to all people who
are due to renew their police checks in early
2016. If you would like to start volunteering,
you will need a police check , so please see
the friendly office staff here at Marion CC.
On December 25 at 12 noon we are hosting a
Christmas Day Lunch; all are welcome. Bookings are
essential with a $5 payment. The lunch will include a
main meal, dessert, soft drink, tea/coffee, music and of
course fun! Bookings and payment through
MarionLIFE reception by December 17; in person at
887 Marion Rd, Mitchell Park, by phone 8277 0304 or
by email [email protected]. Enter via church front
door and head into Side Gate Cafe. Marion Church of
Christ is also holding a Christmas day service at 9am if
you would like to attend before the lunch. If you would
like to volunteer on the day, please contact us.
MarionLIFE CHRISTMAS HOURS
The last day for MarionLIFE’s Emergency Relief
Service in 2015 will be December 17 and will
recommence in 2016 on January 18. We invite you to
join us for our Christmas-themed Community Meal on
Thursday December 3 at 6.30pm, enter via church
auditorium Alawoona Avenue, Mitchell Park.
ELECTRONIC GIVING
Finance Mt Barker has agreed to provide
lending services to the Church and it’s
member congregations using more than
30 financial institutions, including all the
major banks.
Finance Mt Barker and COCOA have
established an agreement that 5% of all
up front commissions will be donated to
support Khayelihle Children’s Village in
Zimbabwe. When a client identifies
themselves as a Church of Christ
member, an additional 10% of any up
front commission received is paid to the
Churches of Christ in SA & NT State
Office.
