followed by a complete sentence.
The birthrate in most developed countries is predicted to begin to fall over the next
fifty years .By 2030 it is estimated that over one third of the population in most
developed countries will be aged 65 and over.
What effects will these predictions have on developed countries if they prove true?
What can be done now to deal with this situation?
Countries which experience technology and industry are more likely to have
falling rate of population throughout the next half century This forecast has created a
debate whether it is going to be true or not and if so, what steps ought to be taken toward
it .That is why, the idea of decreasing number of people has worried authorities in
different ways.
As soon as technology comes in to a country, positive and negative effects also
enter sooner or later. Two most important direct impacts of technology are lowering
mortality rate and increasing standards of living. Many infants as well as mothers would
die in the past due to poor hygiene and health care as well as mothers but it is totally
different now. Consequently, human beings live longer. At the same time, technology
makes the lives of people more difficult. They are more engaged with the work, both
parents have to work to be able to do errands so they prefer to have less children resulting
in falling rate of population in the years ahead down the road. It to this account,
technology has direct influences on population either positively and or negatively.
When there are symptoms of falling rate of population or even it is estimated to
be falling, countries start to think about it by various strategies. Some countries like Japan
are considering some privileges for parents who have more children like Japan .They will
receive higher salary or will use social benefits easier than others. Some other countries
like Japan are attracting immigrants like Canada who accepts many on annual basis.
Brain drainage can be the result of accepting immigrants since those developed countries
have better educational systems. Since people live longer, and governments should
anticipate facilities for elderly consequently, too. Because of these reasons, decreasing
the population has been an important topic for governments to take care of.
In general, technology has its own pros and cons for countries specially developed
ones. It causes people to live longer, mortality rate comes down, people live longer .In
fact, it is a multidimensional topic. So, governments should plan for future as well as
attracting couplesencouraging couples to have more children by providing them with
advantages of having more children.
