Day-by-Day Itinerary
Saturday, August 27th - Depart for England and the “World of
Coronation Street”.
Meet at Toronto Pearson International Airport and embark on your
flight to Manchester.
Sunday, August 28th - Cocktail Reception and Dinner.
We touch down in Manchester where our guide will meet us and
whisk us to our city centre hotel where you will have time to settle
in- rest or unpack- before we meet for a welcome reception and an
early informal dinner in the hotel. (D)
Monday, August 29th - Manchester City Sights
A day exploring the fabulous city of Manchester taking in the
stunning historic and modern buildings and learning its history.
Enjoy a trip on a narrow boat on one of the citys many canals during
which a light lunch is served before a mid-afternoon return to the
hotel. In the evening it’s time to have your cameras at the ready as
we enjoy a typical pub meal with a surprise special guest! (B, L, D)
Tuesday, August 30th - Liverpool – home of the Beatles
The city of Liverpool is about an hour away and today we take in
sites of this fine and historic city with its links to the Maritime
industry and the swinging sixties of course. You’ll have free time
to discover the sights and sounds of the City before a scenic drive
home. The evening will be free - perhaps allowing you to visit a real
‘Rovers Return’ for a pint or two! (B)
Wednesday, August 31st - Locations Tour
Today we learn about the World’s longest running TV soapCoronation Street as we visit several locations where filming has
taken place down the years. We’ll also call in at a garden centre
where our Corrie expert Mark Llewellin will share behind-the-scenes
tales and answer your questions over tea and cake. In the evening
go on a leisurely stroll to city centre restaurant Annie’s for dinner –
which is run by Corrie’s Fiz. (B,T, D)
Thursday, September 1st - Blackpool – The Seaside
“Blackpool, here we come!” It’s off to the coast today as we follow
in the footsteps of many a Corrie couple. There’s free time to stroll
the prom, walk the piers or visit the famous Pleasure Beach – and
we’ll include tickets for Madame Tussauds with its waxworks
of legendary Corrie characters and afternoon tea while watching
ballroom dancing in the magical Tower ballroom. (B, T, A)
Friday, September 2nd - Salford Quays, Studios
Another Corrie filled day including some locations visits and then
the highlight of the week - an exclusive VIP Tour of the Corrie set
itself. You’ll need a rest before we don our glad rags and head to the
nearby Midland Hotel- Manchester’s oldest – for a gala dinner with
surprise VIP guest. (B, A, D)
Saturday, September 3rd - Caernarfon-Snowdonia Train
After our Corrie fix we bid farewell to Manchester as we travel to
Wales - the mountainous land of Myths & Legends, beaches, castles,
rugged scenery and a major member of the old Celtic nations. See the
compact medieval town of Conway and Caernarfon before we climb
aboard the Snowdonia steam train that climbs Mount Snowdon -Wales
highest mountain. Travel on to Aberystwyth where we will spend the
next 2 nights.(B, A, D)
Sunday, September 4th - Aberystwyth at leisure
Enjoy a lazy start today before you set off to explore the victorian and
principal holiday resort of the west coast of Wales. You may choose to
visit some castle ruins, the pier, the harbour or take a ride on the cliff
railway which climbs Constitution Hill for an amazing panorama of
Cardigan Bay. (B)
Monday, September 5th - St Davids-Tenby-Cardiff
After breakfast journey through some coastal villages and stop in
the colourful and historic town of Aberaeron on the way to visit
the impressive ancient St Davids Cathedral. After some free time for
lunch travel on to Tenby for a short walking tour around the town
and arrive in Cardiff our home for the next 2 nights. This evening
enjoy a Welsh Banquet in 1900 year old Cardiff Castle with local
entertainment. (B, A, D)
Tuesday, September 6 th - Cardiff
This morning enjoy a tour of the sights of Cardiff. As the youngest
and fastest growing Capital City in Europe, there are few places as
vibrant and lively as Cardiff. See its fine Civic buildings, the new
Bay area, the new Millennium Stadium and revisit Cardiff Castle.
This afternoon at leisure – you may choose to visit the Doctor Who
experience or go shopping in the Edwardian Arcades. (B, A)
Wednesday, September 7th - Chepstow-London
Today we set off for Chepstow an ancient market town and former
port situated on the River Wye - Home to a Norman castle founded in
1067 which stands at the water’s edge. Travel on to one of the most
famous World’s capitals - where we will check into our London hotel
- our home for the next 2 nights. (B)
Thursday, September 8th - London city sights- At leisure
After breakfast this morning we take in a Panoramic tour of London
to see the citys many major tourist sights – Big Ben, Houses of
Parliament, River Thames, St Pauls Cathedral, Buckingham Palace,
Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey just to name a few. This
afternoon explore at your own pace – perhaps finish your last minute
shopping. Tonight join your fellow group members for a farewell
dinner in the hotel. (B,D)
Friday, September 9th - London-Canada
All good things must come to an end so it’s farewell as we transfer to
the airport for our return flight. (B)

The cost of the “World of Coronation Street” Tours is $4899.00
CDN per person based on shared accommodation plus $626
departure taxes. Single supplement is $1100.00 per person;
however this is only available on a limited basis.
Note: Tour price based on minimum of 25 participants.

Deposit and final payment
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is payable at time of booking to
Kemptville Travel Ltd. Balance of payment is due on or before
June 17, 2016.
Deposit will confirm your reservation until June17, 2016 at which
time the balance is due by cheque, or bank transfer
All tour participants must have a valid passport. Nationals other than Canadian,
British, European Union or American, please contact Kemptville Travel Ltd. at
(416) 489-2424 about specific international travel requirements.
Insurance
In order to avoid charges for cancellation, in case of illness
or death of the passenger or someone in the immediate
family, all-inclusive comprehensive, trip cancellation insurance is offered. Cost of insurance is based on the individual
according to age and pre-existing conditions. Insurance is
optional but strongly recommended.
Cancellation and Refund
All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective
upon receipt by Kemptville Travel Ltd.
In the event of cancellation the following penalties will apply:

June 18 – July 25, 2016
$2000.00
July 26, 2016 to departure
100% of tour cost
No refund will be granted for unused tour services.

made on behalf of customers are made by the organizers on the sole condition that the organizers shall not be held responsible for or have any liability
whatsoever for any injury, death, accident, delay, loss, harm or irregularity
which may be occasioned through acts of the organizers or any company
and/or persons engaged in carrying out arrangements and services described herein or otherwise in connection herewith.
The information contained in this leaflet/brochure is correct to the best of the
organizer’s knowledge, but the organizer accepts no liability for any inaccuracies therein, the organizers reserve the right to alter any itinerary or
service at any time without penalty to the organizers. The organizers accept
no responsibility whatsoever for any additional expenses incurred by the
passenger due to delay, omissions, re-routing, changes in the schedule of

Air Carrier Responsibility
The passenger contract in use by the airlines concerned when issued shall
constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these
