Preliminary Announcement
The 5th International Conference on White LEDs and Solid State Lighting
June 1 ~ 5, 2014 / Ramada Plaza Jeju Hotel, Jeju, Korea
The WLED-5 is an international conference for scientific and engineering exploration of energy efficient solid-state lighting and its applications.
Recently, light-emitting diode (LED) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) have proved to be a key technology for display applications, such
as mobile, smart phone, tablet and large-area TV. More importantly, LED and OLED will serve as a light source for general illumination replacing
incandescent and gas discharge lamps in the future. This conference will provide a forum for LED and OLED research scientists and engineers to
discuss and present all aspects of solid-state lighting applications spanning from material and device physics to efficient and intelligent lighting
system design.
Call for Papers
The 5th White LEDs (WLED-5) is the premier forum which covers all
aspects of basic and applied research on LEDs/OLEDs and Solid-State
Lighting. The conference will bring together leading researchers,
engineers, and scientists in the domain of interest from around the
world. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited
to:
