Dear beloved in Christ,
Greetings from Omsk! Only a few hours and we will
step into a new season – so it’s a good time to look
back at the Lord’s work this summer and share it with
you!
We are thankful to all of you for being with us in
prayer for His work in and through our church!
Well, we faced some new amendments to the law on
religious freedom in our country back in July. It’s not
as bad as it seemed from the beginning, but we have to
make several changes and make additional things so that
we can continue to preach Christ to people in our
country. It does touch missions when people come on
short mission trips but we just have to follow the laws
and it should be ok. We already have several cases in
other cities where people will be taken to court and
would have to pay fines – and these are very hi amounts
of money – so, please pray that we would continue to do
outreaches and do it wisely!

Max&Dasha’s wedding – June,3

I couldn’t make it to the USA for this event, but we
were happy how the Lord has blessed and brought them
together. Max is from CC Perm in Russia and Dasha is
from our church. They have started dating and Max found
he had won a green card to move to the USA. The Lord had
opened the door for Dasha to study at the Bible college
in Murrieta and now they are married! Max works in the
US and Dasha will do her second year at the Bible
college. Their family is one of “God’s stories” for me!

Inductive Bible study workshops – June,11-12

Avgust, Nathan and Pasha came from YWAM in Perm and
did an amazing job explaining how to better study and
apply God’s word in our lives. It was a blessing to see
many come from our church to learn! It was my prayer for
the people and the Lord answered it! And as it happens a
lot when the Lord is at work, we were able to minister
to Avgust as well – here’s what he wrote: “Very good
time in Omsk. Time of healing for my heart!” So thankful
to the Lord for it!

140 anniversary of the Russian Bible – June,19
________________________________________________________
It was 140 years ago when the Bible was translated
into the Russian language we are speaking nowadays. The
Baptist church has made it a year of the Bible in their
churches and has asked and welcomed all the churches to

join them in Omsk to celebrate it. The main purpose of
the event was to tell people about God’s Word and give
out Bibles as a gift. It was a 3 hour event where the
first half was for the children and the second part for
all others. We were able to give out lots of
invitations, several ladies blessed the kids with faceart at the event and Sasha sang in the choir which
included people from different churches as well!

Altai mountains – July, 18-30

A good time of fellowship, rest and fresh air! 2
families from CC Novosibirsk and 2 families from our
church including me and Zhenya – it was a blessing from
the Lord! One of the thoughts which was really on my
heart after the trip – is God’s protection - this is
what I was thankful for! There were so many little
things and the Lord was faithful; we could have hit
other cars as they were in our lane going towards us
twice but were able to move; Alexey slipped on the snow
in the mountains and started falling from the mountain
and we could have lost him. So my heart was filled with
thankfulness for His protection in so many ways!

Danil&Masha’s engagement

CC Novosibirsk had their annual summer camping where
Danil proposed and Masha agreed. They have announced

in to our church last Sunday! Masha is from our church
and Danil is Alexey’s son who is a worship leader in CC
Novosibirsk. We are all excited for them! Their wedding
will take place next summer.

 Children’s ministry – as we are close to having 2
different groups in October;
 Outreach – a heart for us to reach the people with
the Lord’s salvation;
 Everything the Lord has for us this coming fall –
pray for men’s and women’s Bible studies as we start
them after the summer break;
 Rimma and her mission in Abkhazia;
 Natasha as she serves the patients at hospice;
 Tanya and Sasha as they start serving the disabled
children after the summer break in one of the
orphanages;
 God's wisdom in ministering to new people in the
fellowship;
 Our own church building;
 Spiritual growth and maturity;
 A good timing for a good time of rest;
