WINTER WALK IN THE VAL FEX
Starting in the village of Sils, where the
philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche spent many
productive summers, you head behind the Hotel
Waldhaus and into a mysterious landscape,
wrapped in white and forgotten to the world. The
enchanting walk leads you through the Laret forest
up to the toboggan trail, up to the Val Fex road and
finally to Güvé. A short climb leads to a viewpoint
offering a sublime panorama that sweeps from the
Piz La Margna to the Val Fedoz and over Lake Sils
towards Maloja. In Fex Crasta it is worth stopping
to sample the oven-fresh cakes at the rustic
Pension Crasta, before following the path through
the Platta gorge back to Sils.

Professional or beginner, the first weekend of
March is reserved for women: 17 km traditional
women-cross-country-race from Samedan to
S-chanf.
In winter the Upper Engadin is like a fairy tale
landscape. Be enchanted by the winter scenery and
experience the unique countryside in an unspoiled
area.
Telemark is originally a Norwegian skiing
technique and it is completely different from
common skiing. Is it really that difficult to learn?
Try it and tell us about your experience!
Take part of this special competition or cheer for
the participants along the racetrack.
Meeting point: 10.00 a.m. in the hotel lobby
Please don`t forget: warm winter clothing, high
winter boots (no moon boots), gloves and hat. The
tour takes about 2-3 hours and is offered by the
hotel.
Equipment: Ski suit, gloves and helmet. Join this
excursion offered by the hotel. The ski pass is not
