The Property
The Hollies is a mature, well located detached family
home built in 1956 with substantially extended and
reconfigured accommodation now providing a very well
balanced and well-proportioned comfortable home. The
property is very pleasantly located in a well-regarded
lane position on the perimeter of Cirencester near to
open countryside but also within reach of the Town
Centre, and near to Stratton School.
The Hollies is approached into a large and welcoming
reception room that is 16ft long having an average width
of 8ft, with an attractive parquet floor and an adjacent
cloakroom.
The sitting room is an attractive room being dual aspect
and having a polished stone fireplace and glazed bi-fold
doors lead to a large family room or second sitting room,
that is particularly pleasant in proportions being 17ft by
13ft, being a triple aspect room and having UPVC doors
on to the garden. The kitchen is well fitted and has
granite work surfaces and an extensive range of units
with integrated appliances to include oven, induction hob
and dishwasher. There is an adjacent open plan
breakfast room with a further range of units with granite
work surfaces and a separate dining room that overlooks
the front of the house. There is also an adjacent utility
room next to the kitchen.
At first floor level the master bedroom has fitted
wardrobes, a feature walk-in dressing room and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom/guest bedroom
is large and spacious and enjoys a wide front window
and built in double wardrobes. There are two further
bedrooms and an office/bedroom five; In addition there is
a family bathroom.
The garden enjoys a wide patio terrace and is
predominantly laid to lawn and there is an additional area
of garden to the side linking through to the front and a
large gated block paved driveway with considerable
parking leading to a single garage with timber doors.
A gas central heating system supplies radiators and there
are UPVC double glazed windows.
