The C.W. Post Honors Program is designed for academically motivated freshman and transfer
students of all majors. In classroom settings of no more than 20 students, you will participate
with faculty in thought-provoking discussions that will challenge and transform you. A diverse
group of students join with faculty in selecting the Honors Program electives, and every
student in the program works with a faculty mentor on research leading to an undergraduate
thesis in the major. This will be your best professional credential! The extracurricular Merit
Fellowship provides you with opportunities to visit museums, attend theatre performances
and concerts, and explore Long Island’s preserves and parks. All Honors students receive
generous scholarships, and many choose to study abroad.

20 miles from New York City, is home to the renowned Tilles Center for the Performing
