About Welingkar

elingkar was established in 1977, by the S. P.
Mandali, a charitable trust headed by Former
Chief Justice of India, Justice Y. V. Chandrachud
which manages 43 educational institutes in
Maharashtra. Strategically located, Welingkar has
been regularly acclaimed as the fastest transformed
B-school in the country based on its formidable
reputation earned for its pragmatic approach to
management education. Academically, Welingkar
has the best planned network of faculty with strong
academic and versatile corporate experience. With
an expansive campus, Welingkar is the first
management institute in the private sector to
implement Gigabit Ethernet as a backbone and has
an uplink to workgroups. Welingkar today is one of
the most forward looking B-schools in India. Having
recognized the importance of global affiliations,
Welingkar has taken numerous efforts to start ahead

Welingkar Institute of Management has its placement week in December, 2007. By this time the students from
the various 2 year full time-programs would have undergone a rigorous grounding in theory and practical
application of knowledge in their respective specializations / programs. Having successfully placed batches of
