Plain End Casing Elevator
for 6-1/4" ID Casing

A. Locking nut and handle provide quick means of expanding slips for snug grip on
inside of casing.
B. 1” diameter lifting rod.
C. Flange slightly larger than outside of casing.
D. Guide ring slightly smaller than inside of casing at lower end and slightly smaller
than inside of pipe coupling at upper end.
E. Hardened alloy steel slips grip two-thirds of the inside circumference of casing.
The harder the pull, the tighter the slips grip.
F. Scissors action thrust is exerted against inside of casing and increases with the
load.
PLATE GRABS
Plate grabs are used to pick up and move
steel plates. While lifting casing, the
clamping force in jaws will be three times
the actual weight lifted. A safety latch on
the Plate Grab insures that it stays secure
until it is unlatched.

DOWN THE HOLE
An Overhammer Stabilizer and Down-theHole Hammer with a 8-1/2” button bit is used
instead of a standard stabilizer to drill through
the over burden. The Overhammer Stabilizer is extremely helpful when drilling through
layers of rocks and boulders. When using
an Overhammer Stabilizer, a straighter hole
can be drilled, less pulldown and torque is
required, and the drill rig is not worked as
hard. The Overhammer Stabilizer is 8" in diameter.

OVERREAMERS
DOWN THE HOLE
Overreamers are used to enlarge the annulus of a well to a depth of approximately 20'
for grouting purposes. The top of the
overreamer has a tool joint to fit the drill rig.
The bottom of the overreamer has "wings"
that cut a 10" or 13" diameter hole around
the casing. The body of the overreamer is
manufactured from 8" pipe x 22' long and will
fit over 6-1/4" casing.

TAPER TAPS
MOUSE TRAPS
Description
Mouse Trap for 1" - 1-1/4"
Mouse Trap for 1-1/2" - 2"
The Mouse Trap will pick up 1" - 2" PVC or Galvanized
Drop Pipe when taper taps will not. Slide Mouse Trap
over drop pipe, the hardened latch catches the pipe and
grips when Mouse Trap is pulled out of the hole. Specify
pipe size and hole size. Has a 2" male pipe connection
to attach to your pipe.
The Taper Tap has a long hardened threaded
taper with a cutting edge. It is inserted into the
broken tool joint or drill pipe and slowly threaded
into the material. A 3/8" thru hole in included
in the larger Taper Tap to allow air to pass thru
to help dislodge any foreign material around
the drill rods or bit . Specify inside diameter of
tool joint, size of drill pipe, and joint required.
Although these fishing tools are made from quality material and workmanship, due to the nature
of their use, absolutely no warranty or returns are available.
DSI RING COLLAR SOCKETS
The DSI Ring Collar Socket slides over the outside of the drill rod and is pulled up to engage the
hardened slips inside the tapered barrel. As the
load increases, the grip increases. Will work
where taper taps fail. This is THE tool to use when
you have several drill rods in the hole. Will pick up
4" - 4-1/2" diameter drill pipe. The heavier the
load, the tighter the grip. Hardened slips are available for smaller sizes due to drill rod wear.

3T Hydraulic Derrick
32' Tall Derrick - 6,000# Capacity on 2 Part Line
The 3T is the most economical all around rig on the market today. Low in
cost and simplicity in construction makes it one of the best small machines available. The 3T has 6,000 lb. capacity. The 3T is designed to fit on
a ¾ ton truck or larger. The 3T has a self-supporting mast which eliminates need for a guy cable affording fast and easy setup. The 3T basic rig
consists of a 32 ft. telescoping mast, 125 ft. of 3/8 NSNR cable, 2 and 3 part
line blocks, open spelter socket with a 3 ton safety hook, hydraulic
outriggers, automatic engine speed control and power-take-off for a 4
speed transmission.
The 4T is designed for the pump man who requires speed in his operation.
The 4T is designed with a self-supporting mast which eliminates the need
for guy cables. The load is supported by two 3 ½” x 48” double acting
cylinders. Maximum layback on the 4T is 10 ft. back of the truck to allow
easy access to hard to get pumps or pump houses. The 4T basic rig
consists of a 35 ft. telescoping mast, 6,000 lb. capacity, 150’ of 3/8” NSNR
cable with a swaged socket, 3 ton swivel safety hook, blocks for a 2 or 3
part line reeving, hydraulic outriggers, automatic engine speed control,
and a single gear PTO for a 4 speed transmission. The 4T will adapt to ¾
ton truck or larger.
The 5T is the most popular all around pump hoist on the market today.
Its extreme versatility ranges from small submersible pumps all the
way to line shaft turbines. The 5T is designed with a self-supporting
mast which eliminates the need for guy cables. The load is supported
by two 3 ½” x 48” double acting cylinders. Maximum layback on the
5T is 11 ft. back of the truck to allow easy access to hard to get to
pumps or pump houses. The 5T basic rig consists of a 36 ft. telescoping mast, 12,000 lb. capacity, 220 ft. of 7/16” NSNR cable with an open
speltered socket, 4 ½ ton swivel safety hook, blocks for 2-3 or 4 part
line reeving, hydraulic outriggers, automatic engine speed control,
and a single gear PTO for a 4 speed transmission. The 5T will adapt
to a 1 ton truck or larger.
6T Hydrostatic Derrick
EQUIPMENT
The 6T derrick is designed to the same high quality in engineering and
durability as the Smeal 5T which made the 5T the largest selling pump
hoist in the world. The 6T features the latest technology in its high
efficient hydraulic system, plus its rugged construction will set the 6T
in a class right alongside the famous Smeal 5T. The mainline winch
has a 6,000 lb. single line pull at a maximum rated speed of 130 ft. per
minute. The 10 ¾” diameter drum exceeds OSHA requirements plus
accomplishes 12,000 lb. capacity on two lines and is reeved on a bare
drum.
