The Bachelor Gulch Club 2015 Summer Calendar is complete with a variety of fun-filled adventures and celebrations for the entire
FAMily! Keep an eye on The Weekly and the Bachelor Gulch Club Website which provide members with up-to-date information on Club
Events, important Club Information and links to local happenings. The Club continues to plan unique international tours. This fall we will explore Vienna, Austria and Beaver Creek’s Sister-City Lech,
Austria on a culinary, hiking, and cultural excursion.
New for the Club Lounge is an expanded beverage service including a new bar offering beer and wine for purchase. Your family and friends
may enjoy libations in the lounge and patio overlooking the pool with beautiful mountain views! Check the weekly for drink specials!

Member Identification
All Bachelor Gulch Club Members (including children ages 22 and under)
are issued a Club Photo I.D. with a dated membership sticker. Bachelor Gulch
Club Members must present their dated Club Photo I.D. to obtain access
to any of the Bachelor Gulch Club Facilities and to receive the benefits and
charging privileges associated with the Bachelor Gulch Club Membership.
The Bachelor Gulch Club will issue new dated stickers to all members
annually (in the fall) to reflect current membership. Please stop by the Members’
Lounge if you have not received your 2015 sticker.
Only the named cardholder is allowed to use the Bachelor Gulch Club I.D.
Peaks Points: You may continue to earn Peaks Points during the summer
when using your Resort Charge to purchase lift passes and when dining at Vail
Resorts restaurants.

Beaver Creek Golf Club
Beaver Creek Golf Club has extended preferred golf rates to all Bachelor Gulch
Club Members and their accompanied guests. You and your guests may play
at the Beaver Creek Golf Club during designated tee times which are from
10:00 a.m. – 3:50 p.m. Tee times can be booked up to 30 days in advance.

are welcome at most Club Activities but must be accompanied by a Club Member. All activity and guest fees will be charged to the Member Club Account. Please note the
cancellation policy for each activity.

of one of Colorado’s 14,000 foot peaks. We
will depart for our expedition before the sun
rises and spend the day hiking. This hike is for

Advanced Road Ride
See Calendar for Dates
Come with us as we bike our way around the valley. Rides will include the Colorado
River Road, Breckenridge and the ever popular Frost Creek Ride. Each ride will conclude
with a lunch at a local restaurant.
For experienced riders that want a true challenge,
these road bike rides will be longer rides with more
sustained climbs and usually last between two to four hours.

The Beaver Creek Hiking Center offers advanced guided hikes every Monday
throughout the summer. Contact the Beaver Creek Hiking Center for hike schedule
and to sign-up.
We will meet in the morning at the Beaver Creek Club and hike the beautiful trail
ending at the award winning Allie’s Cabin for a delicious brunch. Shuttles available
from the BCC for non-hikers. Allie’s will not hold back any stops for this incredible
culinary spread. Don’t miss this special event!

Spend the morning cleaning up this beautiful mountain we call home! With the help
of the Vail Resorts Epic Promise Program we will make a difference in Bachelor Gulch.

Ducky Day

Duckies are a great way to spend a scenic, relaxing, and fun-filled day on the river. This
open-boat tour allows you to soak up the sun in a “legs free” sit-on-top or inflatable
kayak. Professional guides will take us along the Colorado River where we’ll learn about
the river environment and basic paddle skills for a fun and safe day on the river.

Take in the spectacular mountain views covered in gold. We will offer a golden bike
ride around Turquoise Lake. Biking not your style? Let’s drive over Tennessee and
Independence Pass into Aspen where we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Bachelor Gulch Club doggies are invited to join their owners on a morning hike through
Bachelor Gulch. Doggies must be accompanied by their master and on a leash…or have
one close at hand.
Full Moon Hike & Dinner @ Zach’s
August 15
Join us for an evening of summer hiking up to Zach’s Cabin under the moonlight. Upon
arrival at the cabin we will be spoiled with a stunning 3-course dinner prepared by Zach’s
Cabin’s one-and-only Executive Chef, Tim McCaw. Make sure to book early for this
popular activity! This is an intermediate hike. Participants will hike to and from Zach’s.
Thursdays
Each week the Ladies will tee off at a different golf course for a fun and social day of golf.
Check The Weekly for course information. Ladies’ must sign up 48 hours in advance to
ensure tee times. All abilities are welcome!
Kick off the holiday weekend with a hometown parade, live music, old-fashioned
contests, and fireworks. This is great small-town fun for the entire family!

Avon Salute to the USA
The Town of Avon celebrates Independence Day with the largest fireworks
display in the Colorado Rockies. Over 10,000 shells explode in the sky above
Avon during the display, choreographed to a musical score & simulcast on local
radio station KZYR 97.7. Held in Nottingham Park, it is an evening-long affair
featuring live entertainment, food stalls, and family picnics, culminating with the
fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

Beaver Creek Independence Day
Celebrate July 4th in Beaver Creek with a free concert that will take place on the
lawn next to the Centennial Express Chair Lift and plan to stay for a massive
fireworks display! Gates open at 5:00 p.m., fireworks at 9:15 p.m.
Beano’s Picnic
11:00 am - 4:00 pm – Don’t miss the 24th annual 4th of July Picnic at Beano’s
Cabin. The celebration includes live entertainment, BBQ, and lawn games for
all ages. This unique mountaintop celebration is sure to become your family’s
tradition! Reservations required and transportation will be provided. For more

BGC Concierge.
Vail America Days
A parade will kick off in Vail Village at 10:00 a.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m.
Patriotic Concert performed by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Gerald R.
Ford Amphitheater. All lawn seating will be free and on a first-come, first–served
basis, starting at noon until the venue capacity is reached. Fireworks Show will
take place downtown Vail Village at 9:30pm. The Fireworks will be synchronized
to a powerful musical soundtrack.

filled with a Colorado adventure like rock climbing, rafting and zipline. Lunch

activities designed just for them at Ritz-Kids. The Ritz-Kids program is
designed to make your child’s Rocky Mountain vacation as exciting and
memorable as yours. Each session begins promptly with a plan to discuss the
day’s activities and review Ritz-Kids rules. This supervised program is available
for children ages 5 through 12.

Bachelor Gulch Club Members have preferred access to the Bachelor Gulch Spa and
Fitness Center at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch. Along with Members-Only
pricing and programs, the state-of-the-art 21,000 square foot facility has 19 treatment
rooms, gentlemen’s and ladies’ locker rooms, each with a wet lounge consisting of a
jacuzzi, cold plunge, steam room, sauna, and a co-ed grotto with a lazy river hot tub.
The Fitness Center offers a variety of weight machines, cardiovascular equipment,
fitness classes, as well as nutritional and fitness instruction. This is the premier location
to relax and rejuvenate!
• The minimum age for services and access to The Ritz–Carlton Spa is 18.
• Members must present their Club Photo I.D. to use the Spa and Fitness
Center facilities.
• Members receive a 20% discount on Spa and Fitness Center services, and retail
products. This discount does not apply to guests—even if the member is paying for
the guest’s services and/or retail product.
• Members may charge spa treatments and products to the Member’s Club Account
by presenting their Club Photo I.D.
• Please make changes or cancellations with in 24-hours to avoid a full payment for
the spa service. $35 cancelation/rescheduling fee.
• Lockers are available for use while in the Spa and Fitness Center. Please do not
leave items in the locker rooms while using other facilities or overnight.
• Guests and renters daily fees: Guest: $25, Renter: $35
• Daily fees are waived when a guest or renter receives a treatment or service.
• Guests and renters do not need to be accompanied by a member but must have
a pass for access.
• Member guest passes and renter passes are available from the BGC Concierge
upon request.

• Guests may attend any of the classes, for $15 for 30-minute classes and $25 for
55-minute classes.
• For access to the Fitness Center:
- All members 18 years and older must present their Club Photo I.D. and all
member guests must present a valid guest pass.
- Unsupervised 16- and 17-year olds must present a waiver signed by a
parent/legal guardian.
- Children 12 - 15 years old must be supervised by a parent/legal guardian at all
times and must present a waiver signed by a parent/legal guardian.

Members and accompanied member guests have unlimited and unrestricted access
to the swimming pool and three luxurious poolside Jacuzzis during regular hours
of operation.
There is no lifeguard on duty. Members and guests under the age of 16 must be
accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Towels are provided.
An outdoor rain shower and poolside restrooms with changing areas are available.
A lap lane divider is available for lap swim.
The Ritz-Carlton offers poolside food and beverage service in the summer.

Bachelor Gulch Club Members’ Lounge
Members must use their Club Photo I.D. to access the Members’ Lounge via the
electronic card swipe system outside each door. Member Guests are welcome in the
Members’ Lounge only when accompanied by a Members.
The Bachelor Gulch Club Members’ Lounge is located slope-side in The Ritz-Carlton
Hotel, Bachelor Gulch adjacent to the fitness center and swimming pool.

Club Members may charge items and services purchased at Ritz-Carlton Bachelor
Gulch Spa, Zach’s Cabin, Vail Resorts Retail, and other Vail Resorts on-mountain
dining facilities to their Bachelor Gulch Club Member Account. Please present your
Club Photo I.D. and sign/print your name legibly.
Club Member Account charging privileges are not available through the remainder of
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Furry Friends Policies
While our furry friends are visiting, we ask them to abide by a few simple Bachelor
Gulch Club Pet Policies. All pets should mind their master and their manners, and
do their best not to disturb other guests in the Members’ Lounge. Pets must be potty
trained, remain on their leashes, and be with their owner at all times. Pets are
not allowed at Club Activities and Events unless otherwise noted. We look forward to
seeing all of your furry friends!
Bachelor Gulch Club collars and leashes are available upon request and can be charged
to Club Member Accounts.
