On Friday, February 6th, the Atwood
Concert Hall’s stage will transform into
an arena for fast paced acrobatic thrills.
Straight from Mombasa, Kenya, Jabali
African Acrobats’ performance will
combine athletic artistry, contortions,
strength, flexibility, and dance.

“part Cirque du Soleil, part Harlem
Globetrotters.”

Jabali will provide a special performance at
Alaska Junior Theater’s Annual Benefit
Dinner! Enjoy a champagne reception &
dinner, silent & live auction, a performance
by Jabali African Acrobats, music and
dancing. Sponsored by GCI, the Benefit is
for the community to help bring the arts
into the lives of children who may otherwise
never see a live performance.
Community Welcome Dinner:
Monday, February 2, 6:00 pm at Begich Middle School, the
public is invited to attend a potluck welcome dinner for Jabali.
Bring a dish to share and meet the members of the troupe at
this free event.
Library Limbo/African Dance Workshop:
Wednesday, February 4, 4:00 pm at Mountain View Library
(120 Bragaw Street). This workshop is a free event and open
to the public.
AJT’s Annual Benefit Dinner:
Saturday, January 31st, 6:00pm

by, but our performance season is still in
full swing! In this issue we’re highlighting
Jabali African Acrobats, but be sure not to
