CHERRY HILL, NJ - Former Philadelphia Phillie Garry Maddox and Interstate Outdoor Advertising Chief
Executive Officer Drew Katz announced today that proceeds from their 2010 Celebrity Bowling Classic have
reached $300,000 and now top more than $2.9 million raised during the 10 years of the fundraiser.
“Garry and I are delighted and touched by the outpouring of support that enabled us to raise $300,000 for our
non-profit beneficiaries who do such important work on behalf of those in need,” said Katz. “We are particularly
grateful to the celebrities who were so generous with their time and helped us attract hundreds of contributors to
the event.”
The 2010 event was held on January 26th at 30 Strikes lanes in Stratford.
Participating celebrities included:
• Phillies All-Star second baseman Chase Utley
• NFL Pro Bowler Jon Runyan
• Philadelphia Flyers left-winger Riley “The Enforcer” Cote
• ESPN Reporter Sal Paolantonio
• Television Actor Steve Hytner, who played Kenneth "Kenny" Bania Seinfeld
• The Phillie Phanatic
The Garry Maddox-Drew Katz Celebrity Bowling Classic is held each year
to support the Infinite Possibilities Foundation. The Foundation supports
the following charities:
• Wilson’s Disease Association
• Boys and Girls Club of Camden County
• Grand Street Settleme
• Make A Wish Foundation
• St. Jude Children’s Hospital
• Triple Negative Breast Cancer
• Covenant House
• Diabetes Research Institute
• Starlight Foundation
