• Integrated Computerized Provider Order Entry:
Effectively manage the entry, classification, screening,
and review of medication and therapeutic orders to
identify prior adverse reactions, potential interactions
with other drugs or foods, and duplicate orders or
therapies. Integrating with clinical documentation,
CliniComp|EHR automatically transfers orders to
flowsheets and medication administration records for
charting as appropriate per configurable specifications.

Powerful Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Alerts
Based on any and/or all data in the entire patient record, the
CliniComp|EHR has user modifiable rules - that are based on
a real time CDS engine to monitor continually and efficiently.
Notifications of patients and providers alerts clinicians of changing
conditions.
CPOE takes advantage of CliniComp’s CDS ability to use data
from the entire patient record. For example, laboratory values are
used for medication ordering. If lab values subsequently change
to contraindicate the existing order, an alert will be routed to the
relevant clinician. Laboratory, problem lists, vital signs, I/O, and
other transactional and charted data are available to CliniComp’s
CDS.
CliniComp’s CDS rules engine is configurable using evidence-based
clinical guidelines, scoring systems (e.g. SOFA, Diabetics Score, Carl
Schulman’s Traumatic Brain Injury Score, Rapid Response Team
score, MEWS, etc.)**, and/or any logical functional combination of
the patient’s data or omission of data. In clinical use, these rules
can be modified per environment.
CDS offers multiple modalities of real-time results displays and
tracking boards, such as, Early Warning Dashboards (EWD)
from individual facility to large global population monitoring or
individual patient oriented screens.

A highly configurable platform, CliniComp|EHR Critical Care helps
your organization use information more effectively to minimize
errors, meet regulatory demands, follow best practices, or
implement clinical protocols.
• FlowSheets: Quickly and easily enter common data
types such as vital signs, medications, intake and output,
within a variety of configurable flowsheet formats. Take
advantage of CliniComp, Intl.’s integrated software to
populate the electronic medication administration record
directly from the order entry application.
• Notes: Create, edit, and navigate a range of
multidisciplinary clinical notes, including ADT records,
progress notes, history & physicals and more. This
enhances patient-centered communication and
collaboration.
• Summary Screens: View comprehensive patient data customized for specialized clinical disciplines - formatted
