ITINERARY
Sun, Mar 6—Day 1: Join Fr. Al on this pilgrimage journey to enchanting Italy. Your tour starts when you check in for your
overnight flights from Milwaukee to Rome. Enjoy in-flight meals and entertainment as you start tour in the “Eternal City”.
Mon, Mar 7—Day 2: ROME OVERVIEW (Welcome to Italy!)
Upon arrival in Rome, your English speaking tour manager will meet you outside of
baggage claim and direct you to your private motorcoach where your driver will be waiting.
You will enjoy a wonderful brunch at the Golden Tulip Hotel before heading out for the
day. Following brunch, you will be treated to a Panoramic coach tour of Rome, one of the
world’s most breathtaking cities. Discover the relics of its ancient past in the Colisseum,
Forum, Arco di Costantino, Circo Massimo, St Mary Major and Lateranaum. See the great
dome of St. Peter’s that overlooks the vast Republic Square. During the coach tour you
will be treated to a strolling tour of Rome. Check in to your hotel early afternoon. Hotel
Villa Aurelia. Relax in a pavement café and soak up the atmosphere of the place that invented la dolce vita! This evening,
enjoy a wonderful dinner at the hotel. Overnight: Rome (Br,D)
Tue, Mar 8—Day 3: ROME ~ POMPEII ~ ROME
After an early breakfast at the hotel this morning, we will meet up with our English tour manager
for a full day guided sightseeing tour to Pompeii. Meet up with your local guide as you are
taken on a walking tour of this ancient Rome City. Buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in
AD79 and forgotten for hundreds of years, Pompeii was rediscovered in the 18th Century.
Since then, excavations have gradually revealed the city’s magnificent villas, temples and
frescoed houses. After the tour you will enjoy an included group lunch, followed by Mass by
Fr. Jurkus. Some free time for relaxing or sightseeing before heading back to Rome. Relax a little
bit before your included dinner this evening at the hotel.

Wed, Mar 9—Day 4: ROME (VATICAN CITY)
After breakfast, depart from the hotel to the Papal Audience, which is held in St. Peter’s
Square or the Audience Hall. After your audience your will have free time for lunch on
your own, before meeting up with your English speaking guide to visit the Vatican
Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. After the tour you will transfer back to the hotel. Time
to freshen up before dinner this evening. Overnight: Rome (B, D)
Thur, Mar 10—Day 5: ROME CLASSICAL TOUR ~ ASSISI
This morning, after breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and join your English
speaking guide on your Classical Tour of Rome. You will visit the Trevi Fountain, Colonna
Square, Piazza di Pietra, Pantheon, Navona Square & Capitaline Hill. Then you depart
for Castelgandolfo, the Pope’s summer retreat. Enjoy your included lunch at Restaurant
Bucci. After lunch you will travel on to Assisi. Check into the Hotel Dei Priori, located in
the old city area. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore Assisi. Dinner this evening

FRI, Mar 11—Day 6: ASSISI ~ FLORENCE
This morning, after breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet up with an English
speaking guide who will take you on a walking tour. Today you’ll explore Assisi, the
centuries-old place of pilgrimage at the heart of which is the great Basilica of St. Francis.
Here, the outstanding art collection of the Upper Church, including the famous Giotti
fescoes, is matched in timeless beauty by the works of Lorenzetti and Martini in the
Lower Church. If time allows, a visit to St. Damien’s Hermitage. Mass with Fr Al is
planned today. Lunch on your own before traveling on to Florence. Upon arrival, you will
check into the Hotel Celiai. Relax before dinner this evening at Restaurant La Loggia, located in “Michelangelo Square”, the
only place in Florence where you can enjoy the city from the top. Overnight ~ Florence (B,D)
SAT, Mar 12—Day 7: FLORENCE
After breakfast, meet up with a local English speaking guide will lead you on a walking tour of
Florence, for many Italy’s most beautiful city. Take in the magnificent Florentine skyline, the
splendor of Santa Croce and the medieval Ponte Vecchio. Fr. Al will say Mass this afternoon.
The balance of the day & evening are free for individual sightseeing opportunities, such as the
Uffizi, where Botticelli’s famous ‘Birth of Venus’ can be admired. (You may wish to see the
original David statue is at the Accademia Museum. During the walking tour you will see the
copy of it at the entrance of “Palazzo Vecchio” in Signoria’s square.) Enjoy dinner on own in
one of the wonderful restaurants Florence has to offer. Overnight ~ Florence (B)
Sun, Mar 13—Day 8: CHIANTI REGION (TUSCANY TOUR)
After breakfast, we head out across country through the famous Chianti wine road.
You will drive through Montefioralle (right in the heart of Chianti Region. You will also
see the enchanting village of Badia a Passignano. You will be treated to a walking tour
of San Gimignano. After the tour, there will be a wine tasting followed by a light
lunch at Poggio Amorelli in San Gimignana. You will return to Florence after lunch.
Relax and freshen up before dinner at Restaurant “II Toscano”. Overnight ~ Florence

Mon, Mar 14—Day 9: FLORENCE ~ SIENA ~ ROME
Breakfast this morning. Check out of the hotel and journey back to Rome. We
will be making a stop in Siena. Here you will meet up with a local English
speaking guide for a walking tour of this beautiful city. Siena is one of the most
perfectly preserved medieval cities in Europe. On our guided tour you’ll discover
its magnificent Duomo Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque and Gothic
architecture, and see the shell-shaped Piazza il Campo, site of the annual,
traditional Palio horse-race and a space described by some justification as “the
most beautiful square in the world”. A lite Lunch will be served at a local
restaurant before continuing on to Rome. After checking into the hotel some free
time may be available to relax. This evening you will enjoy a fabulous farewell to

Tue, Mar 15—Day 10: ROME ~ RETURN TO USA
After your final breakfast, it is time to bid-farewell to the beautiful “Eternal City” as we transfer back to the Rome Airport. Our
connection will be in Atlanta, where we have scheduled enough time for you will go through Customs & Immigration. Then
continue on to Milwaukee.(B)

Tour price does not include: Trip cancellation, baggage, health and medical insurance, meals or excursions
not listed on the tour package flyer, items of a personal nature and any items not listed on flyer, gratuity to
driver & guide is not included, passport fees.
Reservations & Payment: To reserve your place on this customized tour, complete and sign this Reservation
Form as an acknowledgement that you agree to the conditions of this contract. Mail your reservation form
with your deposit of $500.00 pp (plus optional insurance premium) to ELJO Travel LLC, 6923 W Wedgewood
Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53220. If you are paying by credit card, we highly suggest that you call in your credit card
to our office, and mail the reservation form without filling in the credit card information. Space on this tour is
limited and is on a first come – first served basis. Reservations without proper deposit cannot be guaranteed.
Final payment will be due on or before December 4, 2015. Final documents will be distributed approximately
11 days prior to departure.
Cancellations and Refunds: (per person) Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to ELJO Travel LLC.
Cancellations are as follows: 170 to 120 days prior - $200.00; 119 to 50 days prior is 50% of cost; 49 days or
less non-refundable. Name changes are possible – please call. The optional travel protection is nonrefundable from day of purchase.
Passenger’s Responsibilities: Passengers must check in at the appointed airline ticket counter no less than 2
hours prior to departure. In addition, you should be in the departure gate area no less than 50 minutes prior
to flight time. Failure to comply could result in the loss of your seat to a standby passenger. Passengers are
not permitted to alter their group ticket route, city of origin, or flight schedules. All passengers must have a
valid passport, which is valid for six (6) months after the return date of this tour.

independent contractors that arrange travel related services for individuals and groups. They are not agents
of the customer or of those providing travel-services and do not in any manner directly provide

delayed departure, missed carrier connections, substitutions of accommodations or of common carrier
equipment, termination of services, changes in fares or for cancellations of reservations, which are beyond
