to select practitioners in the Kaiser Permanente
Select (KP Select) plan as it does for all other
Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products
and lines of business offered through the KFHP
Marketplace. KP Select is a more affordable
product that allows members enrolled in KP Select
plans to have access to professional, institutional
and ancillary health care providers who participate
in the KP Select contracted provider network in
the Colorado Springs area, in accordance with the
terms of the members’ KP Select coverage.
All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians
and network physicians are subject to the same
quality review processes and certifications. Kaiser
Permanente uses the same geographic distribution
consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace
plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation
Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.

A medical emergency is for a medical or psychiatric
condition, including severe pain, that requires
immediate medical attention to prevent serious
jeopardy to your health.* If you have an emergency
medical condition, call 911 or go to the nearest
emergency department. If time and safety permit,
we recommend you go to one of the hospitals
listed below. Please coordinate any scheduled
inpatient care with your physician at one of the
following KP Select network hospitals.
