Efficiency and environmental sustainability are a proud part of our culture at both Integrity® and Marvin®.
Our Ultrex® pultruded fiberglass construction material is made from silica sand — a safe and abundant
natural resource — and takes considerably less energy to create than most other window and
door materials. Ultrex is produced in the only pultrusion facility to completely comply with the
Environmental Protection Agency’s 1990 Clean Air Act, and has been designated a MACT
(Maximum Achievable Control Technology) facility with 95% of Volatile Organic
Compounds created during the manufacturing process being destroyed.

pioneers of performance
Ultrex® pultruded fiberglass
The facts prove it. Ultrex is quite possibly the perfect building material for windows
and doors. It’s durable, strong, stable, low maintenance and energy efficient. Integrity® windows and
doors made with Ultrex pultruded fiberglass outperform roll-form aluminum, vinyl and vinyl/wood
composites in virtually every measurable category. While other windows might bend, break or crack
over time, Integrity windows hold strong and perform under great stress without showing age or wear.
Heat and cold can take their
toll on vinyl and vinyl/wood
composites, causing welded
corners to fail. Ultrex maintains
tight mitered corners and
joinery throughout changing
temperatures.

Each of Grow Community’s 5-Star Built Green homes feature an
energy-efficient design incorporating building materials that meet
or exceed high standards for the ultimate in energy efficiency and
sustainability. Eliminating vinyl-based products was a key goal for
Grow’s developers, so turning to Integrity just made sense.
Two Rivers at The Pointe offers five floors of living space with 67
one-, two-, and three-bedroom condos. The wind, noise, heat
and sun associated with the waterfront location led the project
management team to seek a more robust and reliable window
solution than the project’s originally specified vinyl products.
Grow Community chose to work with Integrity to meet rigid
building specifications and sustainability standards. In addition to
being ENERGY STAR qualified, Ultrex pultruded fiberglass is
made from silica sand, a safe, renewable natural resource. Ultrex
also stands up to seaside rain and wind to retain its beauty over time
for Grow Community homeowners.
Riverfront Development selected Integrity products because
of the durability of Ultrex, superior NFRC rankings, and
WDMA certifications.

IMPACT
Pipestone Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA)
needed to replace nearly 200 windows in the 12-story
Nokomis Apartments.
The Wychmere pool bar pavilion is located on the sandy beaches
of Harwich Port, MA. The pavilion is the centerpiece of a pool
complex that has been a local landmark for years. Integrity
windows, made of Ultrex fiberglass, provided the clean lines and
best-in-class durability needed to make this project beautiful and
long-lasting.
Integrity® All Ultrex Casements were chosen due to their
superior thermal performance, high-quality finish, excellent
warranty and exceptional service from the local Integrity dealer.
The Integrity dealer in neighboring Marshall, MN made several
trips to Pipestone to attend meetings, answer questions and even
provide a specified All Ultrex Casement Window prototype
for the HRA board to review.
By increasing natural light, the windows helped meet the project
goal of creating an open and social place. Integrity IZ3 IMPACT
products were chosen because of their durability and resistance to
the corrosive effects of the climate.
Each All Ultrex window included a Window Opening Control
Device for added safety. These devices allow the windows
to be partially opened, restricting the opening to 4". They can
be released to allow for egress and automatically re-engage
when the window is closed.
Although the competitor’s bid was less, HRA awarded the job
to the local supplier based on the high performance capabilities
of All Ultrex windows and the dealer’s personal guarantee
“to be a very responsive local supplier.”

Highland is an upscale 10-story luxury condominium offering eight
floors of living space with a mix of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units, a
state of the art health and fitness facility, pool & garden area, and
elegant landscaping and common areas.
The Greenwich Water Club of Cos Cob, Connecticut is located
on the beautiful banks of the Mianus River. The diverse facility’s
views of the Mianus River as it leads to the Long Island Sound are
neatly framed by Integrity Wood-Ultrex windows.
Bronze windows and doors were desired to complement the
building’s rich brick exterior, but concerns surrounding the longevity
of the originally specified vinyl product led project leadership to
Integrity®. The superior durability, heat and UV resistance of Ultrex
eliminated leaderships concerns and allowed for the preferred
bronze exterior finish.
Integrity windows provided the club the traditional beauty it was
hoping to capture in its architecture and the high performance it
required due to its waterfront location.
The site’s tight footprint was a challenge which posed some
unique logistical demands during construction. Integrity was able
to ease this burden with its ability to consistently deliver complete
and defect-free orders within 10 calendar days. This allowed for
phased installation by floor without the need for onsite storage and
provided seamless coordination within the project’s tight timeline.
The real wood pine interiors, top sash only Simulated Divided Lites
(SDL) and factory white pre-finish help to give the club’s interior
spaces their charm and traditional aesthetics, while Integrity’s Ultrex
exteriors and strong NFRC and WDMA performance ratings were
a perfect fit for the coastal conditions of the Long Island Sound.
The result is an updated low-maintenance New England colonial
clubhouse that incorporates 21st century building products and
techniques.
