Of all the people on earth, Christians ought to have smiles on their
faces and be ready to laugh. After all, if God has defeated death by
raising Christ from the dead, we have cause for joy at all times.
You are invited to
celebrate the graduation of Sam Barnhouse next Sunday,
June 5. The celebration will begin at 6:00
PM at the Barnhouse
home, 1106 120th

WELCOME
After a long day at work, two ministers decided to take a walk before
darkness came. As they walked, they told humorous stories and
were soon laughing heartily. It felt so good, so therapeutic, that one
pastor turned to the other and said, “Theodore, let’s kneel down and
thank God for laughter.”
They did just that. Then they arose and went joyfully on their way.
Remember that we are abundantly blessed by God and have cause to laugh often. After all, the
Savior lives and we are His friends.
“Then our mouths were filled with
laughter…” Psalm 126:2
Call to Worship
“There Is Power in the Blood”
Would you be free from the burden of sin? There’s power in the blood, power in the blood;
Would you o’er evil a victory win? There’s wonderful power in the blood.
refrain: There is power, power, wonder-working power in the blood of the Lamb;
There is power, power, wonder-working power in the precious blood of the Lamb.
The world behind me, the cross before me.
The world behind me, the cross before me.
The world behind me, the cross before me.
No turning back, no turning back.
Would you be free from your passion and pride?
There’s power in the blood, power in the blood;
Come for a cleansing to Calvary’s tide; there’s wonderful power in the blood.
Would you be whiter, much whiter than snow?
There’s power in the blood, power in the blood;
Sin-stains are lost in its life-giving flow; there’s wonderful power in the blood.
Would you do service for Jesus your King? There’s power in the blood, power in the blood;
Would you live daily His praises to sing? There’s wonderful power in the blood.

“Good, Good Father”
Worship Songs
We’re together again praising the Lord.
We’re together again in one accord.
Something good is gonna happen,
Something good is in store.
We’re together again praising the Lord.
(2x) “We’re Together Again”
To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder?
Who leaves us breathless in awe and wonder?
The King of Glory, the King above all kings.
chorus: This is amazing grace, this is unfailing love.
That You would take my place, that You would bear my cross.
You would lay down Your life that I would be set free.
Jesus, I sing for all that You've done for me.
Who brings our chaos back into order?
Who makes the orphan a son and daughter?
The King of Glory, the King above all kings.
Who rules the nations with truth and justice,
Shines like the sun in all of its brilliance?
The King of Glory, the King above all kings. (to chorus)
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy, worthy, worthy! (to chorus, repeat last line)
(2x) “There’s Something About That Name”
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus: there’s just something about that name.
Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all heaven and earth proclaim;
Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there’s something about that name.
Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
(to refrain, sing 2x, repeat last line)
“Deep Way Down”
Deep, way down deep, way down deep, down in my heart.
Oh, deep, way down deep, way down deep, down in my heart.
(2x) “The Family of God”
I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God.
I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood!
Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod;
For I’m part of the family, the family of God.
