JAZZ ROOTS: A Larry Rosen Jazz Series – America’s Premier Concert Performance Series
including educational and community outreach programs designed to focus on the musical DNA
that connects communities and peoples, while celebrating the music of the Americas.

WHAT WE DO
JAZZ ROOTS Programming – Curate programs, secure artists, design one-of-a-kind unique concert
presentations to meet your mission; manage the productions from booking to closing curtain.
JAZZ ROOTS Marketing – License JAZZ ROOTS brand and logo for PAC use; design high quality printed series
brochures and posters; provide artist photographs, bios, and promotional CDs and DVDs; create customized
videos for use at press conferences, presentations, PAC closed circuit systems, web sites, and on local PBS TV
stations; provide radio programming featuring interviews between artists and producer Larry Rosen in pre-taped
segments to air on local NPR radio stations; provide a global and regional branded JAZZ ROOTS web site that
includes local schedules, ticket purchase link, videos, press clips, sponsor information, and educational programs.
JAZZ ROOTS Education – Design programming for area high schools and bring local students to sound checks
and concerts; set-up Q & A sessions with featured artists, create a regional high school ensemble program (Big
Bands and Combos) with an audition process put in place to select top area high school musicians; foster student
scholarship opportunities to undergraduate conservatory jazz programs; establish music college and conservatory
partnerships; and offer pre-concert audience development workshops for adults.
JAZZ ROOTS Outreach – Work with local PAC to create an organic program customized for its community;
form a JAZZ ROOTS Committee of local educators, community leaders, radio, TV and print media executives,
leaders of local music organizations, members of the PAC staff and JAZZ ROOTS staff to organize and
implement programs.
