At Blyton Ponds we offer adult only fishing holidays in a tranquil, relaxing
holiday environment, suitable for couples and groups of friends.
NO under 14’s.
NO pets.
All male groups under 40
by arrangement only.
Our compact friendly family run park is spread over 5
acres, offering 4 ponds and a range of self catering
accommodation to suit all tastes, from standard range
caravans, through to premier plus lodges and our
ultimate Luxury Lodge. We also have “room only”
guest accommodation cabins suitable for up to 2
guests offering limited cooking facilities.
Our small café offers a range of fresh cooked food from full English
breakfast to light snacks and sandwiches throughout the
day. For an evening meal a short stroll will take you to the
village pub.
The small garden & picnic area is ideal for a bit of peace
and quiet to get away from it all with a good book or a
magazine.

Our four ponds are all stocked with a great variety of coarse fish, which
means you never know what your next catch will be.

POND A has 17 pegs and
is connected via a
channel with a bridge
over to
POND B which has 12 pegs. These two ponds
which are open to day tickets and residents alike
are well stocked with carp up to 27lb, a good
head of roach to 2lb, bream, chub and perch, with
a scattering of barbel, tench & orfe for good
measure.
POND C has the Luxury Lodge, Premier Plus and
Premier accommodation on its banks. The
residents only pond, has 16 pegs and is stocked
with Carp over 20lb, roach, tench, bream, barbel,
perch, orfe, rudd, goldfish to 5 lb,
and koi to 8lb.

ACCOMMODATION
We offer a range of accommodation to suit all tastes.
ALL OUR ACCOMMODATION IS STRICTLY NO SMOKING
TO COMPLY WITH THE LAW, all have full central heating and
all
bed linen is provided for our guests. Ample car parking is provided on site
with at least one parking space outside each unit of accommodation and
additional parking close by for second vehicles.
Each unit has a secure bait and tackle shed provided next to it with a bait
fridge in each one, and hooks for wet weather gear.
You can purchase a grocery pack which has all the basics to start your
stay with us. Just ask for the welcome pack on booking and this will be
arranged for you. Although generally we do not provide towels as standard
you can hire them from us, and if you would like a daily paper delivered to
your door just let us know. Wi fi is available throughout the site for a small
extra charge. Iron & ironing board available on request.
BANKSIDE LODGES Our bankside Lodges are situated on the banks of
pond C with South facing elevation. Exceptional views of the ponds,
wildlife and scenery make this an idyllic setting for all to enjoy. Each unit of
accommodation has up to 2 designated fishing pegs outside which they
have first pick of, however if you wish to fish elsewhere please be
courteous to your neighbours and allow them to use them.
LUXURY BANKSIDE 4* GOLD AWARD LODGE
Our 2 bedroom Luxury Lodge is the ultimate indulgence, situated on the
banks of pond C with en-suite shower room to master bedroom, flat
screen TV, DVD player, hairdryer, selection of toiletries, towels, sauna
towels, bathrobes and slippers in both bedrooms, master bathroom with
sauna and spa bath with over shower. Open plan modern spacious
lounge / diner / kitchen with 50" smart wall mounted TV. Surround sound
system throughout the Lodge and full gas central heating, free wi fi
supplied. Fully fitted kitchen with dish washer and large fridge/freezer.
Washing machine in utility room which leads out onto a large South facing
paved patio area with modern comfortable rattan garden furniture.
ACCOMMODATION
PREMIER PLUS BANKSIDE 3* LODGES
Our 2 & 3 bedroom premier plus Lodges are all individually styled so no
two are identiical, but all are of the same high standard with flat screen
TV's in the lounge and the master bedroom, there is also a DVD player in
the lounge, fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, and full gas central
heating throughout. Comfy lounge sofas and dining table and chairs, the
shower rooms all have spacious walk in showers. Bed linen, gas and
electricity is included in the price, however towels are not provided in
these units.
PREMIER BANKSIDE HOLIDAY HOME
The premier bankside 2 bedroom holiday home is a slightly older unit, but
still offering exceptional comfort and a beautiful location on the bank of
pond C. The 2 bedroom unit offers full size bath with walk in shower, it
also has a second separate toilet.
ACCOMMODATION
4* ROOM ONLY EN-SUITE CHALETS
We have two 'room only' chalets, one has a double
bed, the other has a single bed. You can look forward
to a very comfy night's sleep with quality bedding and
soft towels, a hairdryer and a selection of toiletries are
provided. Both chalets have a comfy bed settee which
can convert into a second bed, they also have a small kitchenette area,
providing a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle allowing you to prepare your
own basic snacks and drinks. The en-suite spacious bathroom has a bath
with over shower. The chalets are situated in the courtyard and each has a
private veranda
although not on
bankside they are
only a matter of
yards from the
water's edge.
STANDARD RANGE CARAVANS
These caravans offer basic, clean well maintained accommodation, central
heated, typical caravan bench seating in the lounge area with shower over
foot bath. Walk in wet rooms are available for use on site should you wish. We
can offer two or three bedroom caravans sleeping a maximum of 6 people in
the 3 bedroom and 4 people in the two bedroom. All these caravans are either
in the courtyard or paddock but nevertheless are just yards from the ponds.
TOURING PITCHES
We have a small number of touring pitches available. These are situated
close to both Pond C & D. All are grass standing with electric hook up. Our
site policy of adults only and no pets also applies to these facilities. Chemical
disposal and grey waste disposal point is available as are modern clean wet
rooms and toilets. Spaces are limited so booking in advance is advisable but
not strictly necessary, as subject to availability we will take people without
prior bookings. Unfortunately no pitches are available with awning space.

Our onsite café is open daily serving breakfast,
lunches and snacks.

Our opening hours are:
Home cooked food served fresh daily
Summer 9 -3, Winter 9-1.
We are a family run business therefore are unable to offer a 24 hour
reception.
Plenty of reasons to visit us.
The village of Blyton is just a short stroll away, where you will find two
village pubs, offering good quality pub grub in a relaxed friendly
atmosphere, an affiliated club, a Chinese take-away and a homemade ice
cream parlour. There is also a village shop for your daily papers and any
other essentials that you might require.
We are half a mile from Blyton Park Raceway, which holds regular racing
events for both cars and motor cycles, details of the track events can be

The market town of Gainsborough is just 5 miles
away, offering a general market twice a week, and
the Old Hall is an excellent place to spend a few
hours for those who enjoy English Heritage.
The City of Lincoln is just 18 miles away, for a bit of
retail therapy as well as sightseeing, they have

undertaken some extensive renovation works at the
castle in 2013/14 and the Victorian prison and
Chapel in the castle grounds is open to the public for
the first time. At the Historic quarter the quaint
streets of Steep Hill (not for the fainthearted, Steep
Lincoln Castle
Hill by name and nature) with craft and novelty
shops in abundance, then why not stop for afternoon tea at one of the
many tea shops before visiting the Cathedral area.
Hemswell Antique centre is just 10 miles away and opens daily the market
and car boot on the same site is open every Sunday. We also boast some
excellent golf courses in the area.
So if the excellent on site fishing is not for you, then why not come and
stay with us and use us as your base to head off and see more of our part
of Lincolnshire.
Fishery Rules
• Barbless Hooks Only.
• Rods must not be left in the water unattended. We have an abundance of
bird life on site so please also take bait off hooks when leaving your rods.
• No radios on the bank.
• Fish from the pegs provided
• No groundbait (except in feeders), no hemp or Boilies.
• All nets must be dipped before fishing commences, and if moving from
one pond to another they must be dipped again.
• All nets must be dipped before leaving our site.
• Guests can use keepnets for up to 5 hours per day on pond A, B or D. NO
KEEPNETS ARE ALLOWED ON POND C. Once keepnets are in the water
they must not be left unattended.
• When fishing pond C only Blyton Ponds landing nets and unhooking mats
may be used, and these are solely for use in Pond C. Your own dipped nets
are to be used on all other ponds.
• All guests staying on site can fish throughout the night on all ponds except
Pond C. We do ask that you keep noise levels to a minimum in consideration
of other guests.

Although every effort is made by Blyton Ponds to ensure all ponds are open
for fishing it may on occasions be necessary to close one of the ponds for
the wellbeing of the fish, this is beyond our control and we ask for your
understanding in this matter.
These rules are not unreasonable and will not deter from having a good days
fishing. If you all abide by them you will not ruin anyone else’s enjoyment
either.
