MAISONLEJABY
A symbol of French lingerie design since 1930
Gruau created
MAISONLEJABY’s
campaigns in the
1950s.
The 1930s: Gabrielle creates her first bras, the «soutiens-gorge de La Gaby».
The brand name «Lejaby» originated from her name.
The 1960s: Lejaby is the first brand to exclusively use Lycra fibre to create its
bras.
The 1970s: Lejaby decides to support the women’s liberation movement
by providing them with a brightly-coloured, triangular bra. Its name: Miss
Liberty. The 1990s: Lejaby launches its Nuage line, the first use of microfibre and the
first invisible model. It becomes a great success.
The 2000s: Lejaby launches its Elixir seduction collection, offering an
unrivalled fit for plus sizes.
MAISONLEJABY
Traditional know-how
MaisonLejaby has cultivated its expertise since 1930 with the knowhow of its Lyon design workshops. It perpetuates and reinvents unique,
fine lingerie composed of the most beautiful materials, in accordance
with traditional practices.
A MAISONLEJABY bra consists of 50 pieces and 10 materials
assembled in 22 manufacturing stages.
Our stylists select the most beautiful materials from exclusive
European suppliers, who work with the most prestigious
fashion houses.
MAISONLEJABY perpetuates its know-how through a
partnership with one of the few institutions which trains
designer lingerie makers: Adrien Testud.

MAISONLEJABY
Our belief
Lingerie is a garment unlike any other; it is demanding and delicate.
It is an intimate reflection of the personality, uniting the body and
the mind; the assurance of well-being and beauty.
The MAISONLEJABY woman is free-spirited, independent, elegant,
confident and well-adjusted.
MAISONLEJABY is not a fashion brand or a luxury brand, it is a
Creative Maison.
It is more affordable than luxury brands, its expertise
makes it stand out from fashion brands, its image and creativity
reinvent traditional lingerie and its collections are
regularly renewed.

PASCAL RENAUX
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Born in Brussels, the cradle of
surrealism, Pascale Renaux’s first job
was to present a weekly rock counterculture show on Belgian TV, before
moving into the printed press.
After working as the official fashion
correspondent for Belgian daily LE
SOIR, she made the permanent move
to Paris in 1999, on being appointed
‘style editor’ at NUMERO magazine by
Babeth Djian.
At the same time, she worked with a
series of different manufacturers in the
cosmetics and ready-to-wear fashion
sectors. In 2009, sports fan Pascale
joined GO Sport/Courir as Collection
Director.
Keen to bring fashion and style to
functional clothing, she developed
all the Group’s brands one by one,
continually striving to emphasise the
role of the body in terms of comfort and
fit. All of which quite naturally resulted
in her joining the world of lingerie.
Pascale Renaux has been Creative and
Image Director.
