FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Fees and Minimums:
Is there a room charge?
There is no room charge for private events. Ceremonies or requested dance space held in the Oak Room require a $350
setup fee.
How does the bar charge work?
Drink charges are based on consumption. We suggest bar packages in the wedding package to assist you in deciding what
to host for your wedding. There is an additional $75 gratuity for each bartender (one bartender for every 75 guests) if you
would like to have a bar.
Is there a cake cutting fee?
No, we waive the fee for private parties. The servers will cut and serve your cake if you decide to bring own.
Is there a food and beverage minimum?
Yes, we require:
$900 minimum for a luncheon,
$1,200 minimum for a private dinner on Monday thru Thursday,
On Friday nights we have a $2000 minimum for the Vintage Room. We have a $5000 minimum for the Oak Room.
These minimums do not include tax, carver & bartender fee, gratuity, or valet
What is the guest maximum for a private room?
During the day the entire restaurant is available for groups of 25 to 450.
The Main Dining Room can seat up approximately 250 guests (depending on setup). It is available for daytime private
events only. The Vintage Room accommodates up to 35 guests for dining. The Oak Room can seat 125 guests theatrestyle for the ceremony and 80 guests for dining.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, once you confirm the room, a deposit is requested. A party deposit will be 20% of the estimated food charges based
on the estimated guest count.
Final payment is due the day of your event. We encourage you to make several deposits so that most of the bill is paid
off before your special day.
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit is non- refundable.
Room/Restaurant Setup:
Do you provide the room decorations?
We do not provide any room decorations. However, we are happy to recommend our preferred vendors to assist you.
Can you provide a different linen color for the tables or napkins?
We can provide a different color of linens or napkins for your wedding at no extra charge. Please ask our wedding
coordinators for the different color samples onsite.
Can I have my ceremony at Lawry’s?
Yes, the Oak Room works very well for the ceremony. We require a $350 setup fee.

Is there a dance floor?
We can rent a dance floor for your party for an additional charge. Or we can set a space for dancing in one of the rooms
without having to rent a dance floor.
Is there a dressing room for the bride and wedding party?
Yes, we can provide the Vintage Room for the bride and wedding party.
Where can we park?
We have ample subterranean parking - 200 spaces. Valet will be required only if your party exceeds approximately 150
guests.
Do you have table numbers if we wish to assign seats?
We are able to provide table numbers at no charge.
What are the seating arrangements?
We have several different floor plans or can customize a seating plan for you.
Can we have a slideshow?
Yes, we can provide a screen at no charge. We can also provide the LCD projector for a $50 rental fee or you may bring
in your own equipment.
Can you recommend any vendors?
Yes, please ask for our preferred vendor list. All of the vendors on the list have worked on various events here in the
restaurant.
Can we bring a live band or DJ?
Yes, you can bring any kind of entertainment. We have specific areas where they can set their equipment.
Will there be other private parties in the restaurant on my wedding day?
We know how important this day is for you. If you are having a wedding celebration in the Main Dining Room, we can
assure you exclusivity of the venue on your wedding date.
What are the hours that we may occupy the restaurant?
During the day on Saturday and Sunday, you may arrive as early as you would like and you may remain in the restaurant
until 3:30 PM on Saturday and 3 PM on Sunday.
NOTE: In December, since we open earlier on Sundays, you may remain until 2 PM.
Food:
Why do I see a luncheon menu and not a dinner menu for weddings?
Most of the weddings are done on weekends due to the large guest count. This is why most of our weddings occur during
the day. Of course our other private rooms are available in the evening for smaller weddings.
Do you offer menu tastings?
We can do tastings for the hors d’oeuvres and fish and chicken entrées. We can arrange for you to come in on a date
where we have another private luncheon scheduled
Can you provide the wedding cake?
We do not provide wedding cakes. Our recommended bakeries are on the vendor list, or you are welcome to use your
favorite. Our Chef can make a dessert station instead of a wedding cake. Please read our wedding menus for dessert
items.

Do you offer an entrée for non-meat eaters?
Yes, there is a vegetarian option available on all menus. We also offer vegan meals. Please let us know if there are any
guests with specific allergies so we can accommodate them.
Do we need to provide you with the menu breakdown in advance?
Yes, we need a guest count and entrée breakdown the Wednesday before your wedding date.
We also ask that you provide place cards for your guests with their entrée selection.
How is the entrée service handled for luncheons?
Normally for luncheons the meals are served directly from the kitchen. If you would like to have the carvers and the carts,
there is an additional gratuity of $50 per carver, and you will need one carver per 30 guests who have selected the prime
rib.
Other Miscellaneous:
Do you allow children?
Children are always welcome. There is a special menu for children age 12 and under.
Can we bring our own wine?
Yes, there is a $20 corkage fee per bottle.
Can we bring our own liquor?
No, rules and regulations do not allow us to permit guests to bring in any liquor other than wine.
Can we have the rehearsal dinner at Lawry’s?
Yes, please ask for availability for a private room Monday through Friday evenings.
If we are a Lawry’s VIP Rewards member, do we receive points?
Absolutely! You will receive points on your complete subtotal on food and beverage only. If you are not a member, we
are happy to enroll you, and we will waive the enrollment fee of $25.
