in various stages of development, including the Parks of Aledo, a development
that has 296 residential lots platted; Brookhollow, a mixed-use development,

for new retail development and expansion, particularly in the areas
of food and beverage stores, food
services, building materials, garden
equipment and supply dealers, not
to mention general merchandise retailers.”
The Aledo Economic Development
Corporation is actively courting a
number of companies, hoping to
lure Grocery Stores, Restaurants,
Specialty and Boutique retail shops
and services, franchise operations
and a Farmer’s Market.
Aledo residents and business owners
tend to be fiercely loyal to their community and have a deep appreciation for the community’s history and
a strong loyalty to local businesses.
“They make very good, honest customers,” Marshall said.
