Raba Kistner Infrastructure, Inc. (RKI) is a
trusted leader in the engineering and construction
industry. We provide geotechnical engineering,
construction management, special inspection and
materials testing services. We are one of the few firms
in Utah that combines engineering and lab services
under one roof. Since opening our offices in Utah
in 2009, we have won Utah’s “Best of State for Civil
Engineering Firms” for the last two years, and “Best
Analytical Lab” for the first time in 2012. We continue
to be recognized as an ENR “Top 500” firm.

Geotechnical Engineering
and Testing
RKI’s goal is to improve our clients’ project
performance by putting our extensive geotechnical
engineering experience to work. Since 1968, we have
developed engineering solutions for complex surface
and subsurface conditions, for both linear and
vertical construction.
Our professionals clearly understand the interrelationship between our geologic environment
and the objectives of clients. Throughout the past
44 years, our geotechnical team has successfully tailored
cost-effective scopes of service to fit individual project’s
unique requirements.
RKI takes pride in the development and implementation
of comprehensive, project specific solutions to the wide
array of management models required for the delivery
of today’s construction projects. We have experience
with conventional design-bid-build, as well as with
public private partnerships through design-build and
concession delivery methods. We provide for the delivery
of quality projects through timely communication,
coordination, innovation and flexibility to meet project
demands. As part of our management system, RKI has
successfully developed and implemented project-specific
Quality Management Plans – based on our corporate
Quality Management System – providing enhanced
execution consistency to meet client expectations.
Special Inspection
Raba Kistner Infrastructure is a leader in
providing special inspection services to vertical construction
projects in Utah, including for clients such as the Utah
Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM),
the LDS church and various municipalities across the
state. Our staff holds ICC certifications in all of the Special
Inspector Category disciplines.
