Advanced factory-laminated polymeric facers allow
TPO, EPDM and PVC membranes to be installed
directly over the R-Tech, eliminating compatibility
concerns and the need for additional slipsheets
Unique fanfold design enables the insulation to lay flat,
eliminating the seam-welding issues typically associated
with other fanfold products
Lightweight and compact
– Available in 200-square-foot bundles, packaged
in approximate 1' x 2' x 4' dimensions
– Two squares of ½" R-Tech weigh less
than 12 lbs.
– Typical mechanic can carry two bundles
(four squares) of R-Tech, equivalent to more than
12 sheets and 190 lbs. of traditional cover board
Enhanced resilience and flexibility allow application over
a variety of irregular substrates and virtually eliminate
the breakage typically encountered with other less
flexible re-cover materials
Requires fewer fasteners per square foot than
most roofing insulations
