with paragraph 5766,
made up of physical and
legal persons without
distinction of race or nationality, believers in the
events that occurred between 1961 and 1965 in
San Sebastian de Garabandal (Cantabria-SpainRionansa), who are grouped voluntarily, in order
to safeguard the historicity of the events there,
give them to know in their genuine reality and
convincing way of being authentic Christians, as
well as they carry out the objectives of the
Association.

A highlander village in northern Spain, in the
municipality of Rionansa (Cantabria), is
regarded internationally as a Marian Pilgrimage
Center.
Thousands of Pilgrims from all over the world
come every year to Garabandal as a place of
prayer for spiritual retreat or meeting. Religious
travel agencies, include Garabandal, between
Fatima and Lourdes, in the Marian pilgrimage
routes.
The ASOCIACIÓN DE PEREGRINOS VIRGEN DEL
CARMEN DE GARABANDAL, in appreciation of
the Apparitions that the Blessed Virgin was
pleased to visit Garabandal between 1961-1965,
and aware of the need to have in place, a center
for assisting and informing pilgrims undertook
the renovation of the old school in order to
provide all visitors with a:

BRIEF HISTORY
June 18, 1961: on that Sunday afternoon
Four girls between 11 and 12 years old, Conchita,
Jacinta, Mari Loli and Mari Cruz, were playing in
the place known as "La Calleja" when an angel
appeared to them
July 1, 1961: Saturday:
The Angel said to them:
Do you know why I have come? It is to announce to
you that tomorrow, Sunday, the Virgin Mary will
appear to you as Our Lady of Mount Carmel) (C.D.)
July 2, 1961: Sunday:
It was 6 o'clock in the evening and we left for the
calleja to pray the rosary. We had not yet arrived
at the scene of the apparitions when the Blessed
Virgin appeared with an Angel on each side. One
of the two Angels who accompanied her was Saint
Michael. The other we didn’t recognize. That day
we talked a lot with the Blessed Virgin, as she did
with us. We prayed the rosary while looking at her.
She recited it with us in order to show us how to
pray it well. When we had finished the rosary, she
told us she was leaving. We asked her to stay a
little longer, saying that she had stayed only a very
short while. She laughed and said that she would
return on Monday. When she departed,
we were sad. (Conchita’s Diary)
July 4, 1961: Our Lady gave the girls their First
Message. The First Message was not made public
until October the 18th of that year.
August of 1961: they began having ecstatic
marches
August 9, 1961: the day Father Luis Maria
Andreu died
July 19, 1962: Conchita receives the visible
communion from the Angel.
June 18, 1965: Saint Michael the Archangel, on
behalf of the Blessed Virgin Mary, gave Conchita
the Second Message, which was made public the
next day.
November 13, 1965: the Virgin appeared for the
last time to Conchita, and among other things she
said: This will be the last time you see me here, but
I shall always be with you and with all my children.

Prophetic Message
The Blessed Virgin announced to me the miracle
that God our Lord will do by her intercession. As
the punishment is very, very big, as we deserve, the
miracle is also
immensely big as the
world needs it. The
Virgin told me the date
of the miracle and what
it is going to consist of. I
must announce the date
eight days before in
order for people to come.
The Pope will see it
wherever he is, like
Padre Pio. The sick who
attend will be healed and sinners converted. Those
who see the great miracle of God our Lord through
the intercession of the Blessed Virgin will not
doubt. And now we are all waiting for the big day
of the miracle, to see if the world changes and
punishment does not come. (Conchita)
First Message -October 18, 1961-We must
make many sacrifices,
perform much penance,
and visit the Blessed
Sacrament frequently. But
first, we must lead very
good lives. If we do not, a
chastisement will befall us.
The cup is already filling
up, and if we do not
change, a very great
chastisement will come
upon us.
Second Message
-June 18, 1965-
As my message of October 18,
has not been complied with
and has not been made
known to the world, I am
advising you that this is the
last one. Before, the cup was
filling up. Now it is flowing
over. Many cardinals, many bishops and many
priests are on the road to perdition and are taking
many souls with them. Less and less importance is
being given to the Eucharist. You should turn the
wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts.
If you ask His forgiveness with sincere hearts, He
will pardon you. I, your Mother, through the
intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel, ask
you to amend your lives. You are now receiving the
last warnings. I love you very much and do not
want your condemnation. Pray to us with sincerity
and we will grant your requests. You should make
more sacrifices. Think about the passion of Jesus.
