HOTEL
Milfontes has been in the track of training camps in
Portugal for many years.
This small village with a 5,000 resident population
has a great demand during holidays due to its fine
beaches with clear water and natural beauty. Moreover, the surrounding area offers ecological tourism,
paragliding training, a small safari park and beautiful hideouts with small waterfalls.
Canoeing, fishing and birdwatching can be done on
the river and the shops in the historic centre of Vila
Nova de Milfontes are 2 minutes’ walk away.

Location/ How to reach to the Hotel
This Center is located 180km of Lisbon and stays
in Vila Nova de Milfontes; is cornered between the
Atlantic Ocean and the Mira River, in the Sudoeste
Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Natural Park.
There are several beaches near the Village being the
most popular:
Malhão
Praia da Franquia (also known as “Praia do Rio” (River
Beach))
Furnas - A prize winning beach. It was elected “Maravilha de Portugal”

Resort
The Hotel stays in front of the River, a fantastic and enviable location.
ROOMS
The rooms are cleaned and towels changed everyday.
Still we would like to recommend the following rules, in
order to keep the comfort and style typical of this Hotel:
. do not dry clothes in the balcony or in any other place
outside your room
. use the drying items in the restrooms or the laundry
service
. ¬do not move furniture
. ¬do not take the towels from the room to the gym or
for other purposes
. ¬if there is some technical problem in the room don’t
try to fix it, just call maintenance.
MEALS
Breakfast is served in a buffet style. The meals will be
served at the table. The restaurant serves a hot lunch
and dinner every day. Both lunch and dinner are three
courses: a starter, a main course and a dessert. Wine
(only for the trainers), water, coffee and tea are all included in the price. Guests are welcome to come and
enjoy these complementary beverages throughout the
day.
The schedules are:
Breakfast: 08:00 – 10:30
Lunch: 12:30 – 15:00
Dinner: 19:30 – 20:00
EXTRAS
All the extras, Phone, Bar, Internet, Laundry, etc, must be
guaranteed with a credit card. The data of the card must
be left in the reception.
Resort
LAUNDRY SERVICE
Is included once a week without extra charge for all
your private clothes. No ironing included.
GYM
Located inside the Hotel, is specific for canoeing.
INTERNET
A wifi network is available in the hotel. This service is
free of charge for canoeists.

Training
PADDLING
The course will be in Mira River.
Below you have the map:
Nelo is lending kayaks to the teams training here. They will
be stored close to the Hotel (close by club). We kindly appreciate that you treat the boats as your own. If there is any
problem with the boat, please contact Nelo immediately.
The river Mira is tidal so while boarding in the dock, take that
into consideration by entering in the opposite side of the
flood direction.
Motor Boat
Transfers
We have several motorboats in this hotel.
The motorboats should be used:

Respecting the other teams on the water

Not as speed boats or for any other purpose
than following athletes on the water.
A minimum of 21 nights and 5 guests is required to access a free rent-a-car or transfer.
When there is more than one user per boat in the Center, they should agree a timetable and/or distribution of
the boats.
For those who have not access to free transfer, we now
have available a rent-a-car service.
