Located on the Cesme Peninsula, opposite the Greek island Chios,
Alacati is the perfect surf spot in the Turkish Aegean Sea. Who doesn’t
dream of racing over flat, turquoise water with constant wind? Izmir is
only a three hours flight away and the transfer to Alacati only takes one
hour. Why not take a relaxing hot bath in thermal springs after an exhausting and busy day windsurfing? Alacati is known as the “St. Tropez of
Turkey” and its’ historical town with numerous cafés and terraces is very
appealing. In nearby Cesme several shops and boutiques invite you to
shop to your hearts content! In case the wind machine takes a break
and you are interested in culture as well as sports, some famous places
can be easily reached from here: Ephesus, Pamukkale, Troy, Assos and
many more.

THE SPOT IN ALACATI
The spot is situated in a huge protected bay with a 500 meters long and
400 meters wide shallow area of shimmering turquoise water. In the
south the bay gives way to the open sea. The constant wind, which blows
sideshore from the left in summer, and the absolutely flat water create
perfect conditions for windsurfers and kiters, as well as an excellent learning and practicing environment. Our windsurfing and kitesurfing tuition
is optimised by the use of a water-proof camera and a GPS device. The
kite spot is on the opposite side of the bay and can be reached either by
car or by the center-owned shuttle boat.
WIND AND WAVES
From mid May until the end of September the well known “Meltemi” blows
from a northerly direction. Normally the wind is moderate in the morning
and increases during the day. In spring and autumn the dominating wind
comes from the south. The “Poiras” blows sideshore from the right. At
this time, nice small waves break in the bay. Even on days with strong
wind, beginners and intermediates can enjoy moderate wind conditions
in the morning and afternoon.
THE CENTER
The Club Mistral center is located in the south of Cesme Peninsula in
the bay of Alacati, on a 70 m long shingle beach only 60 m from the
water. The building is protected from the wind and offers ample space.
Showers, changing facilities and WC’s are on site. Accessories such as
lycras, t-shirts and harnesses can be purchased in the boutique belonging to the center. In his comfortable beach restaurant directly next to the
Club Mistral Center, Murat offers snacks and drinks when you feel like
taking a break between sessions.

Villa Fora I Hotel Club Ilica I The Club Ilica is a wellness and spa resort, located on the waterfront
about 1,5 km (1 mi) from the township of Ilica. The spot in Alacati is about
9 km (6 mi) south from here. The free shuttle bus will take you there in
only 10 min. You will find a great hotel with best service.
Hotel facilities & rooms: The resort consists of a modern and tastefully
appointed main building with 120 rooms and 4 annexes (Club buildings)
with 130 rooms. The main building houses the futuristic lobby with
reception, 3 restaurants – the main restaurant with great sea view), bars,
open-air disco, internet café, conference rooms, amphitheatre and shops
plus hairdresser. Outside you find 4 pools - sweet- and salt-water with
kids' section and thermal pool with jacuzzi. A large sundeck with chairs
and parasols surround the pools and pool bar. During high season the
hotel offers a kids club (3-12 yrs), playground and babysitting service
(subject to fee).

This brand new small boutique Hotel Villa Fora is
located on the edge of Alacati, about 4 km from the
Club Mistral Center. During high season the owner
can arrange a shuttle to the center.
Hotel facilities & rooms: The stone house resembles
the typical antique Turkish architecture. It spreads a
charming and comfortable atmosphere and makes
you feel at home. The ten rooms are individually furnished, simply appointed but very nice with bathroom
and air conditioning. The six rooms upstairs are single
or double rooms and 2 family rooms downstairs provide space for 3 people. Some rooms have a small
balcony. All rooms are without television to secure the
tranquil atmosphere of the house. In the garden you
find the breakfast terrace and a shaded lounge area next to the swimming
pool. You are welcome to use the owner’s kitchen where he will provide
coffee, tea and cake in the afternoon.

Hotel Zeytin I This unique accommodation is located in the small town of Alacati. It is
just 4 km from the Club Mistral/Skyriders Center. A great location to enjoy
the day on the water and to stroll the narrow alleys of the village in the
evening. A shuttle can be arranged between the hotel and the center.
Hotel facilities & rooms: This nice hotel consists of four different
buildings that resemble the typical Turkish architecture. Every building
houses different room styles. The property has two swimming pools,
surrounded by sundecks with chairs. Wireless internet is available free
of charge. You can also join a yoga class, take a Turkish bath or treat
yourself with a full body massage.
You can choose between simply appointed standard rooms and more
comfortable deluxe rooms.

Meltem Hotel I Turkey
The Meltem Boutique Hotel is located on the hillside about 1 km from our
Club Mistral Center and 3 km south of Alacati. In the summer you can hop
on a minibus that brings you either to the center or to Alacati.
Hotel facilities & rooms: This small scale, modern and neat hotel offers
a comfortable, familial atmosphere with high standards. If you don’t go to
the beach or windsurfing you can enjoy the day on the sun terrace around
the pool. In the evening the illuminated pool and jacuzzi invite for a swim.
The lower level houses the restaurant with huge flatscreen TV. You can
also use the washer and dryer. The 11 rooms are medium in size, very well
appointed and comfortable. All rooms offer a great view over the bay from
the balcony. They are equipped with bath/WC, make-up table, air conditioning, TV with int. channels, minibar and safe deposit box. Wireless internet

Suzer Sundreams Hotel I The Suzer Sundreams Hotel has undergone major renovations and
recently re-opened under new management. It is right on the sandy
beach opposite our Club Mistral/Skyriders Center, about 4 km south of
Alacati.
Hotel facilities & rooms: The hotel houses a large lobby area, three
restaurants, bars, discotheque, a bakery and souvenir shop. It also offers
comprehensive services such as internet café, hair dresser, rental car,
laundry service, babysitting and also a registered nurse, which is on duty
24/7. The thermal spa now welcomes the guests in a new shine. You
can enjoy the thermal pools, Turkish bath, sauna and fitness room free
of charge. Special baths and therapies as well as spa treatments are
available for a fee. Relax and enjoy the sun on the pool deck or at the
sandy beach, where chairs, parasols and towels are provided. The miniclub accepts children between 4-12 yrs. There is local artist live music at
the bar in the garden once a week in July and August.

across the street.
The daily shuttle will bring you to our Club Mistral/Skyriders Center in
less than 10 min (EUR 20/week). The central location of the hotel bears
some noise during high season but also offers great opportunities for
local restaurant and bar visits in the evening.
Facilities & rooms: Although the hotel doesn’t offer a high standard it is
very neat and clean. The lobby with TV, piano bar and terrace is on the
second floor. The buffet-breakfast is served here as well. There is also
a small Turkish bath with showers in the basement. The standard rooms
are medium sized and cozy with single beds, bath/WC and balcony. The
apartment rooms have a separate bedroom, small kitchenette, pull-out
sofa, air conditioning and balcony. There is no TV in the rooms. Wireless
