Drogheria Della Rosa is a charming
restaurant in central Bologna in what was
once a pharmacy and has kept all of the
charm from the previous occupiers, the
wooden shelves with the glass apothecary
jars; however, fortunately for the food
and wine connoisseur, the shelves now
hold a different type of medicine: great
wines from the region of Emilia
Romagna.
The owner, Emanuele Addone, has been
in charge of Drogheria Della Rosa since
1994 and has been able to give the place a
second life, respecting traditional
Bolognese cooking and mixing it with
some of the greatest flavours from the rest
of Italy; Drogheria Della Rosa has, in
return, been blessed with truly well
deserved recognition...
