HALLMARK INFORMATION
In accordance with the terms of the 1973 Hallmarking Act, any item of gold
or silver manufactured post 1900 may not be identified unless bearing the
appropriate British hallmark. As we do not wish to deface old pieces with new
hallmarks, some pieces may not therefore carry a complete description.

Welcome to Bruford & Carr’s jewellery brochure for the Christmas 2015
season. We hope you will find inspiration for your seasonal present buying
requirements. The brochure shows our usual wide range of carefully
selected pieces, including unique ‘vintage’ items, as well as stylish
contemporary and traditional classics. Our focus, as always, is to provide
outstanding value across a range of budgets and to support this with
impeccable customer service.
Bruford & Carr is especially keen to support the valuable conservation
work of the European Squirrel Initiative and will donate 10% of all red
squirrel jewellery sales to this registered charity. The relevant items are
numbered 135, 145, 148 and 150 in the brochure.
Please remember that many items are unrepeatable or take time to
restock – the earlier an order is placed, the less chance there is of
disappointment.
Abbreviations are used due to space constraints; we will be happy to
provide further details on request. Chains are included within the price of
a pendant only when stated; they can be supplied separately in white or
yellow gold (standard weight, 16”length) at £125 for 9ct and £195 for 18ct.
The majority of customers contact us by telephone to make use of our
mail order service. Email and fax are also available. Our service includes
complimentary delivery throughout the UK, gift wrapping on request and
our usual ‘satisfaction guarantee’ – should recipients not be completely
satisfied, an item can be part-exchanged or refunded in full, providing it is
returned within a reasonable time.
For those wishing to view specific items in person, please visit the Heming
showrooms at 10 Piccadilly Arcade. Please remember that only a finite
number of pieces fit in to our brochures – we carry a comprehensive
range of similar pieces and continue to offer a host of traditional services,
including bespoke design and remodelling, valuations, repairs, engraving
and pearl restringing. We would be delighted to assist you with any
enquiries you may have.
