SGEL BOOK is a nationwide multi-channel distributor which attends all commercial
channels like bookshops, bookchains, Department Stores, Newsstands, Schools,
export, etc., through our own distribution network.
SGEL BOOK has more than 20 years of experience in the world of distribution. This
allows us to offer an array of personalized services that adapts to the needs of every
client which at the end assures an excellent service.

SGEL BOOK has a very efficient sales team that visits all Purchasing Managers and
points of sale directly, presenting new titles, restoching, campaign and negotiations,
solving customers’ claims, etc.
SGEL BOOK has under its client list more than 3.500 bookshops, 140 points of sale of
bookchains, 500 points of sale in Department Stores, all those are supplied directly.
Besides, 6.000 kioscs are attended through our Press Division.

AVANCED INFORMATION SYSTEMS
SGEL BOOK used advanced IT tools for the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI,
SINLI), both for publishers and points of sale. This technology facilitates the
electronic exchange of information regarding orders, invoices, stocks, expedition and
delivery notes.
At the same time, SGEL BOOK has an information system (Extranet) adapted to
each customer and suppliers needs available through the Internet.

SGEL BOOK has one centralized warehouse, where all stock is kept and
all orders are delivered to any point of sale thanks to our 24 or 48 hour
logistic service.
SGEL BOOK has one spokesperson for every publisher, assigned to one
Product Manager.
SGEL BOOK has a head office and several delegations, that serve all the
Spanish Territory attending all administrative and commercial needs of our
customers.

SGEL BOOK has only one centralized warehouse of more than 10.000 square
meters, where all the stock is manipulated. We stock over 30.000 references that
accounts approximately 4 Million books. Each year we process more than 210.000
orders and more than 7.600.000 books and we credit over 41.000 returns of
2.200.000 books in total.
SGEL BOOK uses the most advanced technology for the management of its
warehouse, silo, radio frequency, permanent inventory, voice piding, etc.

SGEL BOOK distributes a wide variety of publishers that goes from educational books
to general publications, such as Spanish and Foreign literature, children’s books,
practical, tourist, self-help and paperbacks, etc.
SGEL BOOK works with more than 37 publishers exclusively and 67 publishers in an
open market.
