Over 35 years ago, the original PREP® Pediatrics Review and Education Program was created by experts at the American
Academy of Pediatrics. It has become the gold standard for continuing pediatric professional development introduced in
residency programs and paramount to both generalists and subspecialists.
Whether you need to satisfy ABP Maintenance of Certification™ (MOC) requirements, stay current with state-of-the-art CME,
or review with authoritative content for exam preparation, PREP has you covered—with self-assessment products in general

American Board of Pediatrics through the AAP MOC Portfolio Program.
All approved activities must be completed by the MOC Credit Approval End Date. All deadlines and MOC point

To claim credit and find information on how to notify ABP of your completion, refer to the Claim Credit pages of
the self-assessments.
Please note: To claim MOC credit, subscribers must initiate transmission of MOC credits after all assessment
questions have been completed and the established minimum passing score has been achieved in the online
learner mode. A record of MOC credit claiming activity is located in the Manage ABP MOC Credit section of the
AAP Transcript and Credit Management Tool.

In order to successfully complete the PREP® Subspecialty Self-Assessment CME activities
(including NeoReviewsPlus™) for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, learners must demonstrate
a minimum performance level of 60% or higher on the self-assessment, which measures
achievement of the educational purpose and/or objectives of the activity.
In order to successfully complete NeoReviews™ and Pediatrics in Review® journal-based
CME activities for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, learners must demonstrate a minimum
performance level of 60% or higher on the post-article quiz, which measures achievement
of the educational purpose and/or objectives of the activity.
PREP Self-Assessments are built for professional development with learning occurring upon
review and study of the critiques; the initial score achieved represents knowledge without the
benefit of reading the learning component. After reading the rationale and evidence for the
preferred answers, learners are able to reset the assessment and take it repeatedly as a
post-test to measure their progress and achieve the minimum passing score.

Disclosure of Financial Relationships and Resolution of Conflicts of Interest
The AAP Policy on Disclosure of Financial Relationships and Resolution of Conflicts of
Interest is designed to ensure quality, objective, balanced, and scientifically rigorous
AAP CME activities. All individuals in a position to influence and/or control the content of
AAP CME activities are required to disclose to the AAP and subsequently to learners that
they either have no relevant financial relationships or any financial relationships with the

discussed in CME activities. All potential conflicts of interest are identified and resolved
prior to an individual’s confirmation of service at an AAP CME activity. Beyond disclosure of
financial relationships, AAP CME faculty are required to disclose to the AAP and to learners
when they plan to discuss or demonstrate pharmaceuticals and/or medical devices and/or
medical or surgical procedures that involve “off-label” use of a device or pharmaceutical.
The AAP is committed to providing learners with commercially unbiased CME activities.
