LIGHTING:
Using accent lighting adds so much to a space, creating visual beauty
and a soft ambiance that draws the eye in. Would you like to use
sconce/other lighting on either side of your mirror or perhaps near
your tub? Another popular area that lighting is used is above the toekick as a night-light. Are you interested in using any accent lighting
in your new bathroom?
COUNTERS:
Quartz is becoming the material of choice for countertops. It is heat and stain resistant and maintenance free. Granite is still
highly desired and is unique with no two cuts being the same, although it does require some maintenance. Marble and Corian
are also options for vanity tops; both come in many colors and styles, but can scratch easier than other materials, although they
can be repaired by professionals. Laminate is offered in different grades and is the most price conscious option. It’s an
important decision; your tops will be in your space for years to come. What do you envision in your bathroom?
SPLASH:
A backsplash adds visual interest, texture, style and a finished look
to a vanity wall or tub surround. It also has purpose, protecting
your walls from water/other splashes. Using tile, stone, etc. has
become very popular to add beauty and interest to a bathroom.

SINK & FAUCET:
Your sink and faucet need to suite your lifestyle and function to your specific needs. Do you want your sink to be dropped in or
under-mounted? Under-mounted sinks are becoming the popular choice because of the clean look and ease of cleaning. There
are several styles, finishes and brands of faucets and different material options and colors for your sink. To add interest, have
you thought about having any faucets that come out of a wall? What do you envision for your bathroom and what specific
features do you want in your sink and faucet?
FLOORING:
A hard surface, such as tile or hardwood, for your bathroom flooring is ideal. It should be stain/water resistant and durable.
Tile can add interest using a decorative pattern and offers many color/pattern/style options. Hardwood can add timeless
beauty to a space and some prefer it because it’s not as hard or cold under-foot. What do you envision in your new bathroom?
