Introducing Morningstar QuoteSpeed 2.0
Morningstar QuoteSpeed is a flexible web-based
application that bundles real-time market data with
fundamental Morningstar research, qualitative analysis,
and live market news. After acquiring Tenfore Systems in
2008, we built on 20 years of real-time data experience to
create the next generation of Tenfore’s QuoteSpeed 1.0.
Morningstar QuoteSpeed 2.0 offers users a full-featured,
cost-effective solution for streaming market data.
Speed and Technology
QuoteSpeed leverages the latest streaming technologies
to deliver a desktop-like user experience via a web
application. There’s no need to install software or to
use plug-ins. Users can access QuoteSpeed from any
PC or Mac, using a standard web browser. Available
as a standalone application for financial professionals,
QuoteSpeed also works in conjunction with other
Morningstar solutions and internal systems.
Broad Data Coverage
QuoteSpeed offers real-time data from domestic and
international sources, including all major equity exchanges.
Coverage includes stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end
funds, Forex, options, indexes, and other security types.
In addition to broad data coverage, QuoteSpeed includes
complimentary live quotes from BATS, with the option
to license additional real-time data.
Easy-to-Use Interface
The interface of QuoteSpeed raises the bar for market
data system design by providing users with complete
control over settings and layout. Setting options include
overlapping and resizable windows, multiple workspaces,
right-click menus, news sources, alerts, and drag-and-drop
interactions. With QuoteSpeed, users can easily configure
a workspace layout to best suit their working styles.
